I have a fetish for the Krispie bars at the moment. I never bother with post workout shakes. Haven’t been able to stomach them since my return after a 18 month layoff through injury. My post work out meal is always 120g oats mixed with iso whey. With a chopped banana. But sometimes sneak a Rice Krispie bar in with that as well ??? Usually after pull or legs???
Lets just think logically.
Your eating carbohydrates and protein already post workout. Im sure you know this is the perfect time for protein and fast acting carbs.
Rice krispie bar – contains rice and sugar – so fast acting carbs.
Do you think its going to be on any issue adding this in??
Are you trying to loose bodyfat? if so and you are loosing adding carbs in would surely be stupid so you could logically reduce oats and add the bar in to keep kcal the same.
if your trying to gain and the scale hasn’t moved then adding calories in when there most needed I.E after training would seem the most logical and adding in carbs seems like an easy way to do so.
Once you ask yourselves these questions go ahead and try it 🙂

Just heard lots of people say if you’re going to be doing it for a long time it’s better to b&c so hormones aren’t up and down, but I’m just here to learn
No this isn’t true.
If your not going to come off long enough to let the body recover then it’s better to cruise.
So for me I competed in October n am again in September. I did a rebound n want to really push in n off season phase to before next prep.
This means I don’t have the time to come off for a good 12 weeks so I cruised for 6.
Then after my show in October I intend to come off n PCT as in my opinion it’s important we do this.
Then if you can’t recover look to run hormone replacement.
Hence my comment about do you compete or not. As this would then maybe dictate a reason to cruise.
I have clients come off n run PCT n maintain good size n condition n still reach peak strength n past this after 10-14 weeks n they feel very good for the break.
As your in the very early stages of this it’s important to learn your body and the different stages you need to go through.

I never got the whole “only take steroids if you want to compete!” That’s like saying to a girl “Do you want to be a stripper? If not, then don’t get your tits done.” We all do it because we want to achieve a look. Guys/girls that compete do so because they want to put that look against others. Some just do it because they enjoy it. Steroids are a part of bodybuilding/powerlifting. You won’t get the best results without them. Like stepping onto the tennis court with a rounders bat. But hey it’s ok because I don’t want to play at Wimbledon.

Rice based cereals tend to digest the best

I’ll be following this.
Had concerns about ibs a year or two ago, my mother had it and I was getting issues but thankfully began to make a turn with fasting periods, improving food choices and eating windows etc so it’s fascinating to see how you manage this.
I feel I’m making some much better decisions and henceforth progress nowadays.
Keen to learn more, in particular how to push kcals tactfully.
Very interesting how you say fattier meats or fats in general have an impact on digestion.
I guess that’s partly down to the way the gut processes fats, being harder work I imagine?My pleasure bud and yes you are right, fats are harder to digest in general and especially for me as if you read from the start you will of seen the slow gastric transit issue I have due to my stomach not functioning properly and being able to break/grind foods down like it should.
I am just working on my macro increases now and will post these 2moro as if my weight is still 222lb I will be taking kcal to 4100 as I bring in the PED supps come Monday

Mixed reviews on this approach but it would be good to see how you got on with this and would certainly be a good experiment to see how u should focus your future cycles

Today is a rest day – No cardio yesterday or today just mobility work due to this ongoing plantor fasciatis which is really pissing me off. I am getting new high arch trainers 2moro which i am hoping will help alot.
how my food looks rest days
Fast until 10:30-11am
Turkey mince 2% and eggs
salmon
turkey and jasmine rice
egg white digestion smoothy
Free meal – oven wedges and white fish i think with couple slices free from Schar bread for chip butties

So trained Shoulders and chest last night. Hit my all time high strength from last rebound on all exercises or surpassed them so we are in a great position.
Seated machine lateral – 2 work sets and 1 set 4’s
flat bar cable front raises – 2 work sets
crucifix cuff laterals – 3 work sets
1 arm cuff cable front raise – 3 work setsseated cable fly press – 3 work sets
decline cable fly – 2 work sets
pec dec – 2 work setsMy volume is always a little higher here as i dont do any compound exercises due to my more or less non existent pec lec so the exercises i do have to work around this and my form has to be perfect as to not aggrevate the pec.
I will be checking in 2moro with myself lol and looking to up food as my cycle starts Monday after blood work and i am more or less maintaining my weight on current intake it seems.
To add – digestion is now loads better so i have learnt 2 things that i must not change.
Keep fatty meats out and keep saurkraut in.

What’s your next step then?
I’m at a very similar weight and macros but moving out of recomp into a steady surplus, only really beginning to push food. Cool to here your opinion on moving forward. My thinking was to push more carbs training days, likely intra and post training.
EQ will certainly help with appetite but only two weeks in with that.Check out my log buddy and you can see exactly how im approaching things.

Have u tried CBD?
70mg worked wonders for my sleep.
There are alot of things you can do.
dont watch Tv right before bed.
dont use your phone
try and read a book and/or clear your mind of work and stress causing things.
Have some carbs in pre bed meal.
Dont oversleep on a morning and lay in bed if you didnt get till sleep late. get up and get about your day, you will be more tired later and likely sleep much better that night.

I’m doing the same as you going from 220 to 245 n I’m currently maintaining 220-225 on same macro as you n no I will have to push food a lot more

i personally would love to use higher npp but 300 seems to be my limit without having to use additional drugs to counteract the sides.
deca i can’t use at all! another interesting and useful thing to know it that prolactin and e2 stand in relation to each other so keeping e2 in range will lessen the chance of running into prolactin issues in the first place. however, this only applies if the problem is caused by prolactin itself and not by the stimulation of the prolactin receptor by another hormone (like hgh or peptides would do).
