    I’d be tempted to do push/pull/legs al heavy low volume
    Day rest
    Upper – giant set based / higher volume
    Lower as above.
    Rest

    Just my thoughts.

    @max price. That all makes sense if the insulin was peaking during the workout. However it’s not.

    As he’s shooting sub1 30 mins pre it’s not peaking for 60-90 minutes Is the fast acting carbs and EAA he had pre.

    Then as it’s active for 4-5 hours the Intra is then covering.

    All seems to make sense if using humalog etc.

    I agree with your approach if using a long acting insulin like lantus.

    Just my thoughts n approach.

    We all have our different approaches tho ????

    @max price whey and glucose is empty nutrients.

    You mean it doesn’t contain EAA and glucose that the body will utilise ??

    I’m pretty sure it does and will be utilised.

    To the OP make sure your whey is a good quality isolate or even switch to EAA

    I wouldn’t have cereal pwo tho. I would want something that will leave the stomach slower. So a more solid meal

    You ‘should’ be totally fine with that set up.

    Just check blood sugar pre bed. Make sure it’s not below 4.

    I’d keep a carb drink next to bed as going hypo will likely wake u

    If we all know the hormonal environment isn’t ideal for muscle retention etc then eating in a deficit isn’t ideal. I do agree with this train of thought.

    Over complicating it bud hugely.

    Science shows optimal timing is 2-3 hours for MPS to occur, spike n return to normal.

    However I’m not a believer in letting tiny things like this control mine or clients lives.

    Long as your getting your meal plan daily n eating 2-4 hours it’s all good

    So a few things although there are no tests we can do at home to accurately check these things there’s a lot we can do to get a gd indication

    1 – energy levels / gas / Bowel movements regular – how the stool presents – transit time (sweet corn test)

    2 – check fasted blood glucose – drink 50g dextrose – check sugars every 30 minutes n note changes/ response curve. How high they go n time takes to return are indications of glucose / insulin sensitivity

    3, diet / exercise/ GDA

    Up on weight on everything. No issues from lump on leg n Lower back held up.

    480 for 10 good reps on leg press ruined my CNS. Shit was heavy with a slow neg.

    However next

    360 for 24 reps rest paused ruined my entire life lol
