No it will not have any negative impact.

But I suggest to vary your protein intake depending on the moment of the day.
For example, morning and post training I want a fast digesting protein sources, before bed a slow digesting one

Hey

I suggest to have post workout shake 10-15 minutes after training then a solid meal 60 to 75 minutes later.

Count your protein shake in your daily protein intake.

12 a 16 semaines suffisent.

Little update about my reconstruction:

Weighted myself at 121kg Thursday, and was sick fricday and Saturday…
So forced myself to have all my meals in but lost lot of water.
Will weight again Monday morning and adjust diet accordingly.
Training has been awesome and strenght is coming up,would have been awesome to have the next 6 months only training to see where I can push It.

Hey Hyacine !
I want to do a show next november 7. I’m doing a lot of sports beside bodybuilding 2-3 days/week in the gym I’m working (biking etc). I’m sticking to my diet but it’s pretty hard to maintain my weight during the bulk (already lost 8kg in 8 weeks and I’m still upping the kcals each weeks).
In april I’ll be doing only coaching inside the gym and I want to do my first cycle at this moment.
It will let me 7 full months before the comp. Do you think it’s too short to put on muscle with a caloric surplus before starting the prep ?
The show is wbff london in the fitness model category. Muscle model is the goal in 1-2 years.

First problèm is: you are doing too much and eating not enough.
7 months is good if you use it smart.
I mean not sure what is fitness model or even muscle model as I don’t know the wbff organization and division but I think fitness model is a light men’s physique in boxer so you won’t need a crazy amount of muscle mass.
Make sure your diet is on point and if it’s your first cycle, don’t listen to rumors in the locker room saying you have to use all possible compounds, less is the better.

Yes fitness models are men’s physique with boxer, muscle models are looking like mens muscular in boxer.
Fitness model can be done with a small cycle. I’m looking all jordans video about that.
With the guidance of a coach, do you think it can be detrimental for myself to be on for 7 months ? Bulking, cruising, preping ? Or some time off is needed between the bulk and the prep ?
Lot’s of different toughts on that.
With or without the guidance of anyone: you don’t need to be « on » For 7 months.

I have no idea about how much size and conditioning is needed for fitness model thebest advice I can give you is this one: don’t rush the process.

Take as much time as needed

Hey Hyacine,Thanks for all the questions you are answering! My question is, do you like to hold a certain body weight after offseason before starting a diet? If so, what is your preference for how long?I know this is person dependant, but how long do your athletes typically run an offseason for? Thanks!

Hey Lewis!
My pleasure,I learned a lot for the last 4 Years on TrainedByJP and I m still learning so if I can help I m happy!
Body.weight is not really important off season,I m more
Concerned about body composition: as long as the athletes is in a good shape and not too fat or retaining water,we can push.
I m also careful about the digestion, level of inflammation and recovery of the athlete.
I personally think that 16-20 weeks is a good duration for off season.
12’would too short, more than 20 would be too long.
Let me know if you need more précisions!

Thanks for the info! That really helps. When you push up during the offseason, do you like the athelete to maintain their weight before dieting?
Thanks again!
Yes I allways have a period to maintain.
Any new gained tissue will be the first to go when you diet so you have to work on validate it then preserve it while dieting.
Period is really depending on the individual but I d say 3-5 weeks, that can be done while cruising

Hey Hyacine!

J utilise la même depuis 2015(go nutrition)
