Be cautious on how much drink and food you eat that contains aspartame as its carcinogenic, the odd one every now and then wont hurt.

I don’t know where you do your cardio but we are fortunate enough to have purchased one of our gyms old cross trainers when they were updating their range, along with a bike we bought a while ago. So my cross trainer is sat in my living room in front of the tv lol! So bodybuilding dvds or just tv are good for me. But often I just bash some music on and put my headphones on. I’m only doing 20 minutes on my off days which isn’t too bad. So I plod away with my liss in the living room whilst my fiance Sophie tries to smash through the ceiling doing her hiit on the bike lol!

Could always download some DVDs to your phone.

Jordan surely people who eat healthy year round like ourselves with a balanced diet and physical exercise, regularly having blood work done, spending hundreds of pounds a month on health related supplements but take sports technology drugs are healthier than most of the general population who don’t follow healthy eating or exercise plans, have the slightest clue about their current health situation or even take a multi vit.
A third of our country is clinically obese and its only getting worse, the amount of junk in our food today and carcinogenic compounds added must mean in general where do we draw the line on who is healthy and who isn’t.

Do you think its possible to do what some of us do and come out the other side totally unscathed? Obviously those of us who aren’t genetically predisposed to problems through family history etc and genetic response and tolerance to things.

Health should be at the forefront of all of our minds regardless of our overall goals in life!

Jordan would you mind sharing where you
Are getting these from exactly as I would like to order them and use as well. I dabbled in vet grade multi b vitamin injectable before but probably didn’t run it long enough to see the benefits! This is something I am very interested in.

Not surprised you pulled it if the bar was out of alignment, but I would assume its probably just that.. a pull due to overloading one side more than the other. Perhaps when you revisit the exercise start with a lower weight and get someone to film your form to ensure your hitting it right. Stretching cant be stressed enough I have had numerous pulls and a tear due to overly tight muscles. Now I always try to stretch everyday.
Google DC stretching, this is a good way to incorporate stretching into the working and will definitely do the trick.

    Hello mate,

Ive pulled things and also torn things in the past, when you say you felt it go, what do you mean? How did it feel was it, hot, sharp, shooting? Is the area inflamed or bruised?

If the pain goes away I would stretch like you are and then probably try some hyper extensions next time as a way to test the muscles without and significant load being placed on them. Although JP might have some better ideas so will see if he comes back with anything but thats what I’d do without being told otherwise, unless its still hurting obviously.

My fiancée is working with Corinne myself with Jordan, we have already started discussing each othesr Christmas presents which are now pretty much entirely food based items lol as we both know that these sorts of cheats are pretty much off the cards but thats one day he cant control so hahah!!

My choice would be a nice 5 guys burger and chips, ice cream factory from pizza hut – the one they lured you in with as a child where you pay £1 extra for unlimited refills although you felt sick after one bowl anyway lol, and then a big pot of pick and mix to sit and watch a movie with!!

Anyway back to my salmon and egg whites!

So if one is drastically bigger than the other I assume it would be advisable to train the smaller side more than the bigger side to get them to even out?

Hi mate, I use coconut oil quite a lot – any reason why you wouldn’t want to cook with it? It doesn’t smoke as much like regular oils and really flavours food well. When cooking white fish in particular its nice to rub it over the fish and wrap it in foil. Other than that I know people mix it in with their coffee.

Me and Sophie use a lot of Optimum Nutrition supplements, their hydro whey has come recommended highly by a few people although it is quite expensive. Chocolate flavour is by far the best. I’ve used a lot in the past from myprotein. Currently trying out some bulk powders cookies and cream which is quite nice but like you said Jordan its hard to trust the amounts they claim that are in the serving size.

Hi guys, like Ciaran said I can offer my opinion as I run an engineering company and work contracts in the UK and Europe, currently enjoying some time at home which makes things easier. But it is totally possible to stick to a diet and training plan religiously whilst away, it just takes more planning and thought. Gyms are normally easy to find if you google search and phone around in advance to see if theyequipment is suitable etc. With regards to diet it can be more expensive but tesco do offer a lot of precooked meats and fish etc and carb sources are easy if you have access to a microwave, if you are unable to store prepped food i.e. sleeping in a hotel and need to buy your food daily this works quite well.

I spent 14 months running a project at night from 7pm til 7am, I would train straight after work eat my post workout meal and sleep in a hotel whilst maintaining a strict eating schedule. It is a royal pain in the ass but just plan ahead and you will be fine.
