    Sunday morning Density boxed off! Just had a new gym open close to me, fully kitted with 43 pieces of New Tech so went to have a dabble, South Wales is getting ridiculous with the gyms we have access too, love it!Haha

    I’ve used it as a last resort if I’m travelling for multiple days and don’t have any more meals prepped. You’re never going to beat cooking your own chicken with these type of things, but they’re defo useful if you’re in a tight spot…it beats getting 6 chicken selects from McDonalds!lol

    Hey Tobi, low sleep is my forte!lol.

    I’ll still train, but I’ll be mindful of what the rest of the day looks like. If its a busy day travelling etc then I’ll park the training for the following day.

    Hydration is priority on these days, I’ll always aim to get 2-3 litres down me before I train, meals as per usual around that and then obviously try and capitalise on getting some more sleep the following night if possible.

    Hey guys, 2 days rest for me…I am battered. After being ill last week I was keen to get back training this week, but could feel myself burning out in yesterdays session. I’m away all day on a shoot tomorrow so that will mean 2 days complete rest, I’ll see how I feel Sunday and it may even fall into 3 days to start fresh Monday. We shall see!

    Almost into the last 2 weeks of being ‘healthy’ before we begin pushing back up. Bloods getting booked in next week and myself & Calum have mapped out a rough plan for the next 18 months…Exciting times!

    Morning everyone, it is leg day!

    Very unusual start to the day here, normally I’m wide awake at 4/5am ands ready to go but last night I took Dream Sleep for the first time…woke up at 8.30am LOL. With the off-season around the corner I’m really going to try and prioritise my sleep more this year, something I’ve always struggled with due to schedule but where I can, I’m definitely taking advantage of getting more rest.

    A couple hours editing this morning and then it’s over to train for 1pm. Smith squats on the menu, running 5pps right now so just trying to make every session on this better and get it to a comfortable double figure set before nudging it up.

    231lbs today, 2.5 weeks left of staying in the deficit and then up we go!

    What’s going on guys! Been a few days since my last update – the flu got me good and then it was straight back into work. Shot with Oscar up at the shed gym Sunday for his YouTube aswell as images of the new summer drop 🔥

    I have 3 more weeks left to my health phase, which ties into the family holiday and then as soon as I get back we can finally start pushing. I always extend the health phase a little longer than normal, just due to age etc

    Been slowly bringing food down to enable me to ‘sling shot’ out of the deficit when I get back from Spain. Bodyweight is 232lbs now, which is 22lbs up from stage and around 16lbs down from the highest post show weight.

    Getting bloods done in 2 weeks, so they’ll be back when I’m away and then I should have the green light to officially start the off-season! Look forward to documenting it all here and on my YouTube 😁💪🏼

    So, the illness I felt I was coming down with has taken full effect. Full of a cold, cough, temperature & aching… perfect!

    Sauna and rest day today, a bunch of editing and a walk by the beach to clear the pipes but still feel rough. Early night and supps will hopefully sort me out 🙏🏻

    Supposed to be legs tomorrow but I think if I feel remotely like I want to train, it’ll be arms and park legs until the weekend.

    Evening guys, busy weekend! Between the shoots and editing last week, spent some much needed time with the family.

    Had a shoot at a different gym today yet again so changed up some of the kit I usually train on. Hammer strength incline to start as I rarely get to use it, underestimated what I could do as it’s been so long. Stimilus is stimulus I guess! Overall a decent session…

    Started feeling a little under the weather as the days gone on though, not sure if I’m burnt out or coming down with something. Hot bath and bed it is. Hoping I don’t wake up worse tomorrow 🙏🏻

    Evening guys! Great day up at the HQ in Cheltenham filming a podcast with IFBB WPD Pro Sara Bradley followed my us both training together – Jumped in on her upper rotation which we filmed for YouTube.

    Always enjoy training there with the amount of kit available, my home gym has a tonne of equipment but not hand picked to that extent. Also picked up my first lot of TBJP supplements so I am fully stocked up and ready to go now.

    Back on home soil training tomorrow which is density. We only did 1 back exercise today so it shouldn’t affect it too much. Looking forward seeing what we get off the floor!

    Evening guys! So, I guess this is my first official athlete log 🥳

    Firstly, thank you to the team for welcoming me on board! Honoured to finally be part of the TBJP team, other than ‘just the video guy’ 😅

    It’s a been a hectic week with getting the new clothing delivered, taking images of myself and then editing them for the website etc, in between all my Magic Eye work but we’re almost done lol

    Heading up to the TBJP x SHED gym tomorrow to shoot a new episode of my podcast ‘The Beautiful Struggle’ with Sara Bradley, followed by shooting some more cool content for TBJP. Stay tuned!
