I had this same issue… had it for months (I was getting treatment) … finally I just paid for an MRI – turns out I had a tear. Whilst not amazing info or anything I could specifically do, at least I had diagnosis and it explained the pain. I then just programmed Around it.

Still hurts to this day. The joys of bodybuilding lol

Hey Joe! I’m curious how you are finding 4 meals compared to the 5-7 you’ve done in the past? I actually prefer 4 very large meals as well–obviously with higher protein and carb amounts because of the reduced meal frequency (10oz chicken and 150g rice instead of 7-8oz chicken and 100g rice). As long as I am staying on top of my digestion, I enjoy having the additional hour or 2 between meals to make sure the food is fully processed.

I’m curious how long you wait after finishing your pre meal before you start training. I usually find 2.5hrs works best for me but 90-120min works as long as it’s chicken and rice.

Hope the deload does you good dude! I always experience the same thing in regards to desire to train.

Hey Ryan hope you’re well mate

Yeah – so talking optimally we want to be stimulating MPS multiples times per day – hence why eating smaller/more frequent meals can be seen as optimal.

But… there’s also the element of what works best for you and your lifestyle. I like 4 meals (plus shakes) as it allows me more time in the day to work/do whatever I need to do without keeping stopping to cook/eat etc.

I personally prefer bigger meals as I can eat a lot in a single serving/meal (and digest it well) – I find when I have the same cals over 6 meals I find it harder to get the meals in. So it’s preference.

Pre workout usually 2-2.5hours out from training then I utilise carb powders/EAA and whey for my peri nutrition – which is nice as it’s low volume and sits well whilst providing me the MPS stimulus and also extra intra carb hit to fuel/recover from the workout.

To summarise – do what feels and works for you and most importantly what you can adhere to over time. Hope that helps bud.

Yeah I’d still use it in both. Could easily hit different rep ranges and / or intensifiers

Taking a deload for a good few days now, my desire to train has dropped off along side some physical and mental fatigue… so cals ordered a rotation of rest to get me firing again.

I think desire to train is a big one to monitor when pushing as I LOVE training so something is deffo off when I lose it.

Already feeling better for a few days off. Just focusing on work and day to day life.

Yeah course you could use mast to grow on, I’d favour primo for its tissue selectivity plus you can pretty much run it as high as you like (not advice)

Lunges, Reverse lunges, heel raises squats/lunges etc

Also I’d go see a good chiro. Usually some good manipulation can make a world of difference.

After I broke my back, I used to (and still do get) tightness like you’ve described – seeing my chiro regularly defo helps 🙂

Hey bud, you’re current rebound cycle, post this phase once you clear out will you go straight back to these compounds at the same dosage or change? How would you structure an off season cycle for an experienced AAS user dosages etc, just interested to get your perspective mate

Hey bud of course I’ll follow what cal says so hard to say exactly but I’d imagine it’ll be similar to what we’re doing now and probably push the primo a little higher

As we’ll be off the back of a clear out phase I imagine we’ll start maybe a little lower than we are now and then titrate up over time. This would be because even at the ‘lower’ dose I’ll still see good gains and it gives us scope to escalate and see the benefits from each escalation as opposed to going In right away at ‘higher’ doses.

Obv higher doses to begin with may yield ‘faster’ results but it’s going to be a long offseason that we want to extend so this escalation model imo if better over time

The meal plan is in! I’ll write it up tomorrow and post it here for you guys to see. We’ve gone for 4 Main meals per day – I prefer this myself as it fits better into my working day etc

Then Additional shakes throughout the day and I’ll also include the GH and slin timing/protocols as well

Hi Joe, hope you’re well mate. If you get a spare min, I would be keen to see the meal plan you mentioned posting about.

    All the best ?

I always uses the phrase ‘you need to earn the right to diet on higher cals’

If you’re eating 3000 kcal and you want to diet/lose body fat, you’ll have to eat probs a fair bit less than that (obviously)

So if you wanted to not have to go down as low, you need to be able to start higher – but you have to do this over time

Your maintenance cals will rise the more muscle you have – so spend time doing that. Gaining muscle, but not getting too sloppy.

The more cycles you have of doing this the higher start point with regards to kcals you’ll be able to have

Been up to Manchester today to get my first echo cardio gram. It was actually a good reading. I was a little apprehensive – my heart wall is slightly thickened but that is to be expected for someone that’s been using peds for over a decade. I have a 55% efficiency rate (anything over 55% is considered to be good and 75% is the top reading)

Very happy with this. And now I have measures to look back on and compare with next time I do one. I highly suggest all of you guys using peds get your heart checked out. I got mine done at the blood lab

Great to hear bud, how much does it usually cost to get one done?[/quote]
Hey Luca Im really sorry I don’t actually know what the cost is but I know it’s affordable for the results you get. Ie it’s not like a grand. Message the blood lab on ig for more info

Well it’s not going to be the be all and end all if I’m honest. Benefits of bottled for sure. Will it change your life, no. Just my 2 cents
