Just weighed (end of day) 116kg which is just insane how much weight I’ve held. We got a further 800g carb today and 6l water. 1/2 diazide just now (10pm) then another 1/2 in the middle of the night along with sips of water though out the night to keep me going. Then tomorrow we check in, assess and plan for the day. Bringing my best ever package that’s for sure. Buzzing to get up there now and battle it out ?

It’s been 7g per day since I got back to England, I’m not sure what we’re doing tomorrow yet as we decide everything day by day 🙂

MemberSeptember 10, 2020 at 8:12 pm in reply to: Joe’s Classic to Open Class BodybuilderChecked in on wake today and we began the load, 3 meals of 100c and 40p then pics again 90 mins later, posing was great, JP was very happy and then he said to have 3 more of the same meals.
Soo all in all around 600c today – tomorrow we assess again on wake and go again from there – deffo filling up and drying out as the hours go by.
I want this more than anything and I can’t even explain to say how much it would mean to me to win this show.

You do any Cardio or just count ur steps daily?
For last week pre show, u recommend to slow down a bit Cardio or keep it the same? (I’m currently 18 days out and I’m doing 75 min cardio 45 morning and 30 min post work) I was thinking to maintain all the same until 2 days out and take break then and carb up. I see u also take rest when it comes to 2 days out.Hey buddy no cardio for me just steps – currently 8k, down to 5 tomorrow.
I usually suggest that if your lean and ready then yes output should be lowered to allow the body to rest, lower stress and allow the body to be in the best state possible to expel water.
If you’re not stage lean then obv you’ll have to keep doing cardio but that’s not a good spot to be.

I got myself a bike for this prep then didn’t need to do any cardio lol … I’m with jimmy on this I prefer walking outside 🙂

Keep cardio at the most minimal dose effective so that you are dropping weight/bf but also able to retain muscle. If you jump in with higher cardio yes you’ll drop weight but also eat into muscle which isn’t the purpose of a mini cut/recomp. I’d see what progress you can get from steps alone then add in cardio at 20 mins 3x a week and then assess and amend from there.

Rest day today and felt it a bit tbf but nothing bad. Actually had a very productive day work wise and looking forward to pull tomorrow which will be filmed for the site 🙂

Just get strong over a multitude of rep ranges same as any other muscle really. Nor’easter frequency to 2-3 times per week (make sure you can recover) … DC sets are also useful.
