    Lovely chilled weekend. I saw my dad in the week when I was home which was nice but couldn’t see him today. But missed the fam as they all met up.

    A few nice dog walks and a very chilled weekend. Extra day off gym today too so I could spend the day with Nancy – still in the period of ‘paying back’ after a very long prep so that’s fine with me while I’m also in Health phase 🙂

    Class day yday trained delts and tris with my client and friend James and also friend will Cruz. Obv right now I’m not absolutely full sending training but that session was just that. Heavy heavy everything with all the intensifiers 😂 sometimes it just has to be done and was a great session. Feeling smashed today so glad I’ve had a rest day.

    Also date night tonight with nancy. I did the starters – yakitori chicken, stuffed peppers and mozzarella and then Nancy did BBQ’s duck breast salad with sweet potato fries. Unreal 😍

    Busssssy couple of days. Back home in London now. Had the tbjp shoot today for the new clothing drop and there’s some really cool pieces! Then trained chest at tbjp gym with big Nath, class session with the big dog. Then went for a chiro session that … omg… was so good! And so needed! Backs been a nightmare so was very much overdue! Then grabbed a coffee catch up with my sister before heading back. Just had last meal and now off to bed. Fulfilling couple of days 🫶🏻

    Back to tbjp gym today, staying in cheltenham as I’m shooting the new tbjp clothing range tomorrow. Hit legs today and was so good to get back on the arsenal leg press – my fave leg press as it’s lower back support is so good! 10pps for 15, then 12 for 7, would like a run at this but obv I won’t be able to as back to London tomo.

    Busy day tomo though client check ins early doors the ln the shoot at 11.30, then training chest with big dog Nath, coffee catch up with my sis and finally a chiro appt before heading back home.

    Go to bed earlier. Get up early. 5am. (Maybe you already do?). Do your deep/most impactful work early while you’re sharp. You have at least 3 hours there of solid uninterrupted work before you need to eat. Meal one can be protein/fats to avoid the carb ‘coma’ or a meal with lower carbs depending on your goal. Look at highly digestible carbs/cor/fruit juices/fruit here if required etc.

    You next meal around 11am and by this point you could have up to 5 hours decent work in. Bit of a balancing act and trialling what works for you but this is just an example for you.

    Amazing back thickness day today. Basically just a session of rows and rows. Obv I can’t hinge because of my back so my session today was:

    Chest supported barbell row (think seal row)
    Plate loaded low row
    Hoist mid back row
    T bar row
    Cable high row (upper back/rear delt)
    Standing calf
    Seated calf

    All 2 sets 8-12 to failure.

    Back to chelt tomorrow and looking forward to getting some legs in at tbJP gym

    Both of those things can increase the likelihood of a breakout.

    Keeping your injections as frequent as possible will absolutely lower your chances of this happening as you have less peaks and troughs in your blood serum levels.

    Then eating ‘shit’ … I mean, you can kind of expect it 😅 …

    Took an extra rest day today. Body’s feeling a good bit sore so took an extra day off and back in tomorrow. I don’t ever really take deloads or anything like that unless I go on holiday and just take a few days off there. I’ve spoke on this a fair bit before. But obv atm im 4 and a bit weeks post show, first time on legit TRT (150mg/week test) and recovery isn’t amazing. Not awful but trying to balance my training intensity/output somewhat to my recovery is touch as I love to actually train hard so that’s kinda hard to do. Rather it that was round that the opposite though I suppose!

    Heading back to chelt this week for a few days for Father’s Day and looking forward to getting a few sessions in at the shed too. They’ve got a good few bits of kit in there now too that I’m excited to try. I’ll let you guys know what I use that’s new and give my opinion as always 🙂

    We need more info here. Are you looking to come off and not go on again or are you looking for a break? Even extended break, in which case I’d suggest coming down to a TRT dose. Monitor blood work and adjust accordingly.

    Awesome weekend had my brother Adam down for a couple of nights. He’s 4 and 6 weeks out from his shows this year and obv I coach him so it was a good catch up and chance to see him in person. Hes much much leaner than last time I saw him in person which was actually the day I won my pro card. We had a good couple of sessions at both Muscleworks and Kings gym. Few posing sessions and also have him a cheat meal. We have the same bodies so I know that’ll do him some good moving into the last 4 weeks as he’d dropped off quite flat. So fed him up last night. Rest day today no direct cardio – just some good steps this morning and then fully back in tomo. Looking forward to seeing his AM and post workout pics tomo. Anyway. Bed time for me. Hope you all had a great weekend!

    Me personally I’d like to get carbs back in every meal – depends when you train too and if you prefer having more cals/carbs pre training or more post. I’m same as most here that I’m hungrier in the evening – post training so it makes sense. But yeah I’d get carbs in all meals then probs add to post and evening meals from there.

    Great leg day today. Decided to run two leg days on alternating weeks as I think just sending 2 compounds every week my back is going to start playing up and I’m still getting some hip pain – that I usually get from high steps when lean. So today was quad focus

    Lying ham x 2
    Vertical leg press x 2
    Hack x 2
    Smith glute bridge x 2
    Leg extension x 2

    Doesn’t look much. But was some heavy weight moved well. Legs were toast.

    Really enjoying training atm even if I’m only on 150mg of test 😭😅😂
