We will probably do this whole prep on zero cardio and just made amendments to output from steps which are still only at 6k

I’d deffo take your time getting back to it – like rich says don’t jump back in going to all our failure. I’d probs leave 1-2 RIR for a couple of weeks until you feel ready to push on. Obviously ensure recovery Is on point too. If your getting bad doms from not going to failure, then obv just wait a little longer ????

He had a good look at my shoulder and also sorted my lower back out which was in a bit of pain from legs monday. Also had deep tissue in the evening so tbh feeling pretty battered (in a good way) … another rest day tomorrow then we go again Friday nice and fresh

I’m loving the humility here bud, acknowledging that there is more to learn, do and apply with only help you grow both mentally and physically.
I am always looking to learn and grow more so keep that mindset and you will do just fine brother

Was curious how your push programming is set up, do you do a Chest/Shoulder/Tri variation then a shoulder/tri variation 3 days later ? If so, do ever do close Grip pressing in both sessions or is it usually every other if it’s even programmed in. My close grip pressing has been going up rapidly and is growing my Triceps a lot , wasn’t sure if you constantly doing a movement is a hindrance or not , I usually have been doing my close grip as my compound on push 1 as my tricep compound and the hammer dip machine as my compound for push 2
Would you ever do close grip in both and do the hammer dip machine as well in push 2? Just curious, cheers man!!Hey bud yeah so 2x push sessions and they both do delt and chest but each one has one of them as a focus. I hit a CG press on both sessions as a 3rd compound. I prefer focussing on the chest/delt work before moving onto a tricep press move.
I would say 1 tricep compound and 1 iso movement would probably suffice is performed correctly etc you could maybe do a second compound if your tris were really weak, but it’s person specific
Hope that helps bud

MemberJune 29, 2020 at 9:43 pm in reply to: Joe’s Classic to Open Class BodybuilderEvening guys. Legs today was good other than twinging my back a little on squats. I’ll see chiro this week and hopefully all be ok.
Posed after legs and was actually very happy with the look (usually feel flat and shit after legs lol) – we filmed today so will be up on the site shortly for you guys to see as an update.
114.4kg this am and feel a touch fuller. We’ve raised test to 180 a day now and it’s helping a lot with the fullness and surprisingly I feel great. Let me know if you have any questions about training or cycle etc

Patience has been a virtue with this injury and I’m finally now starting to reap the rewards of my rest and patience. Strength in going up and gains are being made! Peptides are still in and doing their bit too
What peptides are you running right now Joe?
Apologies if I need to just go back in the log and do some more reading hah[/quote]

Agreed that it’s very hard to replicate. Some exercises I like with only free weights are DB squat with a 2 second pause at the bottom and also try and raise your heels on a plate or something and that will really fire your quads up!

I wound just go back to your normal split, set some new numbers and look to progress them over time. If anything, if you’ve not been able to train legs properly I’d be careful about how hard you go initially because you are not yet adapted to the stresses a huge leg session will cause and this could lead to adverse issues such as rhabdomyolysis etc
