Hey bud firstly make sure all variables that can be controlled are being done so. Sleep, hydration, nutrition etc … recovery will need to be on point. Look into monitoring sleep. Then you can improve it if it’s not optimal.

Split wise perhaps try something like 1 on 1 off full body and then see how you feel. The. You can add or take away as you please.

This is just a suggestion and of course there could be many ways to do it, I just think this wound be a sensible approach.

Progressive overload should be the underpinning off all training programmes where bodybuilding is concerned. When you come off or get deep into a cut; you manage your recovery so that you can still progress. If an exercise stalls you swap the exercise or the rep ranges so you can begin to progress again. Having the view that you just get weak on prep is very defeatist – change your minds set to ‘what can I do and how can I manipulate the situation so I can continue to progress?’

New low weight this prep now 117.2kg

The look is deffo coming in now too so I’m pleased with progress. Still no programme changes, the plan continues ????

Reiterating what the guys have said here. That question is too vague. It would if we knew your training age/status/experience/goals etc…?

So peptide have been ordered, should get them tomorrow. Intrigued to see if there as good as everything is making them out to be.

Has anyone else had any experience with them and what has their outcome been?

You can use it on anything really. Your
Body doesn’t know what exercise your doing. It’s just knows that blood flow is restricted and will adapt accordingly over time. Deffo a good tool to use in this period especially with limited kit.

In a very positive frame of mind. Business is going well, it’s good to see people still chasing their goals and looking for coaching in this time. My client team is going and also my own prep is going well (despite the shoulder injury) … so I cannot complain.

I have looked into peptides today and I will be trying BPC157 and TB500 in an attempt to help my shoulder get better and hopefully avoid surgery.

I will monitor and report my progress here. Let me know if anyone has any questions on the matter.

Like merat says maybe a floor press would be a better option …. but tbh I’d probs Stick to dual arm especially when focusing on going heavy

Really good session today after yesterday’s rest day – no pain in my shoulder too which was great

Weight is down 0.6kg to 117.4kg and can now start to see the look coming in a bit better

I’ll pop some pics below – no changes to the plan as of yet

Well deserved rest day today. Actually feel pretty battered so very much enjoyed chilling out and doing nothing – tried to keep off work today too. It’s nice to be able to work with my clients especially during this period but also from time to time I need to take some
Time off to relax and I usually do that Sundays.

Push today – my shoulder tear is really playing up. Can’t go heavy, max weight was 80kg on the bar. Higher reps and supersets. Was a bit shit, but still made the best of a bad situation. I did get a good pump doing my isolation stuff and no pain with that so that’s positive.

Hoping this pain eases off and can push the weight a bit more on next push day.

100% get bands to increase the load – surprised you haven’t already ordered some. Will help greatly. Deffo not a good situation but I think it should be enough to maintain but unkikely progress.

What you said re tempo etc would make sense as well, and like Haider said – super sets etc will fatigue the muscles quicker so your more likely to reach some form of failure

Awesome leg session today managed to get on my mates kit – decent leg press so smashed a good few sets out of that.

Just training hard and making everything done with intent and of course till failure.

Had some food changes this week; minor cal drop so we’ll see if weight is down at all tomorrow
