    I’ve never heard of someone having that type of reaction from solely 250 test. I’d be tempted to try a new lab ( a trusted one) and run labs throughout

    Day one of prep today. We have officially started. 12 weeks out from the regional. As we will then see from there.

    I’ll let you guys know the plans over the comings days bit by bit.

    But Patrick has implemented cardio from day one. 30 mins liss on treadmill fasted. I like this daily as it gets me into the prep mindset and also gets me getting up earlier and into a good productive headspace for the day. Which will only improve as I get leaner and leaner.

    Tomorrow I’ll write up my updates cycle as well.

    Unreal chest session today strength is at an all time high and I plan to hold if not increase this for as long as possible. It’s so important for me to be maintaining performance while on prep to hold my muscle while getting lean.

    Prep is a go! Time to get peeled 🫡

    Always good to hear that things are progressing and moving in the right direction Joe.

    Also, after some of the injuries/niggles that you’ve had, it must be great to have a good run of training, stringing sessions together etc.

    Quick Q – that looks like a lot of food, is that high for you or have you gone higher in the past?

    Hey Matt hope you’re good my man and thanks bro. Yeah deffo feels good to be on a good training run. Just gunna keep riding this out, touch wood! Haha

    Food wise this is just sub 6k (clean food) and I’ve been up to 7.5k before which was very very hard. Hopefully never have to push that hard again 😂

    Much needed rest weekend. Had some amazing sessions this week. Things really moving very well now. Tbh I feel in a good place with off season and could probs carry on a bit but also ready to flick over into that prep mindset.

    12 weeks out to the regional and I’ve decided to do the Ben weider as well now for my first pro qualifier 🙏

    Yea he’s running it and tbh bro it was just too much output for me trying to grow my weight stalled and I stopping growing. My metabolism is so fast I’ve dropped down to 1 set per exercise and continued then to grow. Interesting how things change. I imagine we may introduce again in prep. But we’ll see.     Keep taking body weight up. Getting stronger and progressing your lifts. Recover and sleep well. Repeat this for years and you’ll grow.

    Train to failure too. Intensity and consistency combined and you’re onto a winner.

    Another unbelievable session – back day was fully sent yday

    Rope front pull down x 1 heavy
    T bar x2 with drop
    Prime pull down x 2
    Cable horizontal straight bar row x 2 + drop
    Atlantic cable curl x 2 + drop
    Nautilus curl x 1

    Doesn’t look much but weights are heavy heavy now as my body weight and strength continues to climb! Feeling super good now!!

    One of the best chest sessions I’ve had in ages. I’m feeling strongest I’ve ever been right now! Very very good indeed. Lifting things I’ve not done before which is pretty cool!

    Lovely Sunday rest day today much deserved but also ready to get stuck into the new week tomorrow. It’s going to be a busy month with work and all that stuff so keeping myself really organised. Food prepped and work head is on. As well as BB head too obv. Fully focussed this year for my goals!
