    Rest day today but ended up going for a looooong walk with Nancy, Chloe and max. Lots of steps, we went for a cheeky breakfast, been a loooong time since I did that so that was thoroughly enjoyed. Shopping for food all done, house cleaned and all set for the week ahead. Time to chill now.

    Great day today with max and Chloe coming down to visit – Nancy, me and them went to the shed which was class. Always a good vibe on a weekend. Had a good few dog walks and went out for steak this evening which was unreal. Tomorrow going for a nice walk in the morning, a longer one. The a rest day and chill – back to the rat race Monday 🙏

    Got max and Chloe heading down this evening to stay for a couple of days, looking forward to some social time, training tomorrow and out for a nice steak meal tomorrow night. Going to be nice. We’ve lined out splits up so me and max are on delts and tri. And Nancy is going to train with Chloe. Should be interesting haha. Anyway, excited 🙂

    Ugh day 3 of no vaping and finding it hard I won’t lie. Got the patches on and just got some Nicorette gum today which seems to be helping a bit. Apparently the first few days are the hardest.

    Little bit off topic maybe. But I’m quitting vaping this week coming. I’ve done it for nearly 2 years now mainly because of prep but it deffo has a negative effect on my appetite when trying to eat like now so that aswell as I want to obviously not smoke/vape for the health reasons too. So taking the first step and quitting next week … wish me luck 🙏

    Had to take an extra rest day today. Been feeling it from training and then playing cricket saw we waking up today smaaasheddd and hurting in places I haven’t hurt in for a long time… so rested up. Did more work. Went on a few walks and now off to bed. Back in the gym tomorrow for shoulders and tris – cpap on I’m off to sleep ✌️

    So bit of a different one today my dad was running a charity cricket match today and asked me to play. I used to play and was pretty good if I do say so myself 😂 anyway, I agreed to play. Was just an evening 20/20. Bowled and batted. Got 28 not out was a good crack but damn my body now hurts, just got into bed and I know I’m gunna be in bits tomorrow – but memories like that with my dad will be remembered forever ❤️

    Today’s back and bi session was awesome. Felt very very nice and everything clicked perfectly. Strength up again. Since putting in the eq a couple weeks ago I’ve noticed a dramatic rise in my strength – there are other variables too but it’s deffo doing a bit!

    BACK/BI
    1. Prime mid back row – 1 x 6-10, 1 x 6-10 + single rest pause
    2. Prime dual pull down – 1 x 6-10 + forced rep, 4 x 4 reps, 15 seconds rest with a weight that would allow 8 reps
    3. T-Bar- 10 x 4 20, secs rest with a weight that would allow 8-10 reps
    4. Single arm plate loaded pull down – 1 x 6-10, 1 x 6-10 + rest pause until only 1 rep is possible
    5. Prime extreme row – 1 x 6-10 + forced rep, 1 x 6-10 + drop 30% weight to failure 4 sec negatives
    6. Standing EZ cable curl – 1 x 6-10, 4 x 4 reps, 15 seconds rest with a weight that would allow 8 reps
    7. Alternate DB curl – 1 x 6-10 + forced rep, 1 x 6-10 + drop 30% weight to failure 4 sec negatives
    8. Machine curl or cable preacher curl- 1 x 6-10, 1 x 20

    Chest tri and calf’s today – here is the session:

    CHEST/TRI/CALF
    1. Hammer strength flat plate loaded chest press – 1 x 4-8 + forced rep, 4 x 4 reps, 15 seconds rest with a weight that would allow 8 reps
    2. Atlantic Incline plate loaded press – 1 x 6-10 + forced rep, 1 x 6-10 + drop 30% weight to failure 4 sec negatives
    3. Prime incline pin loaded press – 10 x 4 20, secs rest with a weight that would allow 8-10 reps
    4. Low incline cable press – 4 x 8-12, 45 secs rest
    5. Upright decline cable cuff fly – 1 x 8-12 + rest pause until only 1 rep is possible
    6. Tricep dip machine – 1 x 6-10, 4 x 4 reps, 15 seconds rest with a weight that would allow 8 reps
    7. Vulcan tricep press – 1 x 6-10 + forced rep, 1 x 6-10 + drop 30% weight to failure 4 sec negatives
    8. Single arm cable tricep extension – 1 x 6-10, 1 x 20
    9. Seated calf – 3 x 8-12
    10. Standing calf – 3 x 8-12

    Some heavy stuff and some hard intensifiers as well! Class session. Just getting my pre meal in now and then hitting the road!

    Rest day today. Had a catch up with some mates for a friends leaving do – always good to see my ‘normal’ friends lol. And now off to do Sunday adulting errands, bit of painting, putting up a new bed etc

    Very excited to get back in for chest and tri tomorrow! Feeling super full and strong atm and just loving training 🙏
