    So another thing. Last night I went to a spinal clinic in London called pro back where I went on a fully mechanised spinal decompression table. To help me gain more height. Yday i was 184.6cm – just under a cm under height and today I was 186.3 so nearly 2cm height gain and nearly a cm over height (I need to be 185.5cm so I can fit in the 232lb weight cap otherwise it’s 224 and I ain’t making that 😂).

    We’re going to do 2 more session with the last one actually being on height in day on Friday so should comfortably make height and weight.

    The things we have to do eh 😅

    lol…. at first i thought u were joking abt it … so the decompression really does help to increase height especially to weight trainers, must be all the squats and overhead liftings 🙂

    So I’ve changed my morning routine a touch this peak week. We’ve decided I won’t get up crazy early and to just walk naturally when my body wants me too which has been 7/7.30am. From here I walk to the gym that has a sauna (10k step round trip) – I’m not doing cardio so just walk there, practice my posing, then this week I’ve also been using the normative recovery boots on the legs which have been insane. They help the lymphatic system drain any metabolic waste from the body, improve circulation/recover and actually help remove fluid from the body. After using them yday my legs felt much lighter as they’d been feeling quite heavy of late. After that I’ll hop in the sauna for 20 mins or so followed by a cold shower – just because it’s nice after a sauna and I have a seriously good energy spurt for a few hours after. Then walk back. Today I’ll grab a sunbed too.

    My only issue atm is mad blisters on my feet from all the steps but man up and all that 😂

    If I go from a press to a cable fly and still have my elbow sleeves on this is a good queue to keep them locked in as they will help keep your arms locked (obv you’ll still have to consciously do it, but it can help for sure)

    4 days out. De ides this week to not set my alarm and get up at 4.30/5am and to wake up when my body wants to. It’s 7am now and just woke up. I want to have as much rest and sleep as my body wants this week so that I can lower fatigue as much as possible over the week so that I’m super recovered and fresh for the stage this weekend. Just about to head off to the sauna. It’s like a 10k steps round trip which is good and will knock off the most part of my steps for the day then I have pull later. Also got a load of cool new stuff for my work/office set up here in London so look forward to building that today – prep buying is here in full force 😂

    Deffo looks like pre meal can take some more carbs and also the addition of carbs into meal 1 also. Easy addition of the required cals there bud.

    Great push session down at kings today. We started the peak max protocol today too. 4 caps split am and pm. Which will increase each day until the weigh in and show. I’m grabbing the inversion table tomorrow too so I can get working on getting that extra cm indeed to fit my height class, my favourite bit 🙃🙃🙃 lol such a ball ache but needs must. Going to try (if weight allows) to lower steps in the back end of the week but we’ll just see how that goes. We have the idea of lowering steps along with food to lower fatigue but also keep weight where it is so we’ll just take it day by day and I’ll keep guys posted 🤝

    So peak week is upon us. We’ve removed all direct cardio now which is nice, only steps. I’ll still do my morning routine and walk the long way to the gym so I can stretch, pose, do abs and have a sauna. Then walk back. Staying on baseline food as I’m just under the cap now which is nice. Weigh and height on Friday then we carb up and of course I’ll let you guys know what the plan is when we get to it 🙂

    9 days out now where did that time go. Mad. Pretty much there or there abouts now. Feeling good and in striking distance now. Mock peak is all trialled and ready to go so we know what we’re going to do pre show now which is a nice stress reliever. In for some deep tissue work today and then in for chiro tomorrow to keep me ticking over. So looking forward to that. Going to get some deep work done on my legs today, hopefully help then dry out some more too. They’re a little heavy from cardio/steps/general fatigue so this should help a lot. I always like to do my chiro the day after a massage so my muscles are somewhat less tight and it helps the effectiveness of the work the chiro can then do.

    Good session today. Night little drop In weight following the refeed on Monday. We’re going to just run this up to the show now and should naturally drop down under the cap again. So I’m nice and fresh for the show and can eat/drink a little on the day and not have to starve myself to make weight. Feels like a much better place than I was in last year in comparison 😅😅
