What would be your go to movements for back width Joe? Especially with having some back issues
Mixture of heavy pull downs making sure you ‘feel’ in in the lats and don’t just crunch it down. And then some single pull downs and single rows as well. From high angle and also horizontal.

And yeah like hilly I think getting stage lean is always good to see how you look. Then build from there. And rinse and repeat.

Just arrived here on holiday now and the weather is so nice. 28 degrees and lovely. Going out for dinner this evening and then onto a boat for the day tomorrow which should be very nice. A nice chilled few days to recharge mentally and physically and then back to it on the weekend.

So currently off on my way on holiday – very much looking forward to it. Going to still train whilst away but will enjoy some nice food and then get back to full routine when home to really get cracking at off season 🙂

Then flying back home early tomorrow so will be back and in the gym again tomorrow training tomo and Sunday 🙏

Very welcomed though, training is going so well right now. In for pull today. No pulling from the floor anymore, we tried it but my back said no – the fracture 3 years ago won’t allow it so we continue with chest supported movements. I’m going to play with and find the best option possible to run up to work on that thickness and keep you posted which option I choose.
Looking forward to boxing check ins off today, got a few guys on stage this weekend. Then off to train at kings while here in London, then back to chelt to head to Edinburgh for my good friends wedding tomorrow 🙂

As hilly said here I would 100% diet first and get lean – there a whole host of reasons for this
If you bulk from here you won’t last the whole cycle until you need to cut anyway so doing it now saves time
You’ll grow more efficiently from a lean state
Your insulin sensitivity will be better when lean
Ability to assimilate nutrients will be better when lean
You won’t run into as many problems ie lower back pump and other unwanted things like that as soon when stating from lean state
Coukd go on… you get the point haha
So yeah, start the cycle by all means. But diet and for your cardio until you’re pretty lean. Like actually lean. And then look to grow from there.

Also the new cycle is already kicking in. Weight sitting 251.2lb now so we need to be carful with how much weight is now going on and where it goes. Careful programming and a watchful eye on things is what this is going to take.

Feeling in a good groove – bloods were very good. Alt a little high, e2, prolactin on higher end but ok and hdl a little low but all very manageable and everything else in range so very happy with that. So we’re starting the next cycle now. 400 test, 400 dhb, 400 mast, 6th gh let’s get some muscle on!
how do u manage injecting 400 dhb? no problems with PIP?

Anyway I had their all new, most comprehensive test on the market testing over 100 bio markers and includes a urine sample. Intrigued to see how it comes back should be back in a couple days and then I’ll report back to you guys.
Feeling good most plodding along, still dieting and sitting at 249lb so havent ballooned out which is good and the goal! Hopefully bloods are good and we can get on with off season and growing some nice muscle!
