I keep it simple
If I’m tired I man up and train
If I’m fucked like by body is in pain to the point my training is suffering and and really feel genuinely fatigued then I rest
I don’t ever really take longer periods off unless it’s a holiday or something where I use that to chill and recharge

A biiiiig whoosh is weight today from 249.6 to 245.6lb – got the digest max in and that really helped me ermmmm get rid of some prep constipation (soz not soz lol) and woke up today so tight and dry!
High day today for back day and had a banger. Strength still holding well now at 4.5 weeks out.

Back in Cojos today for push. Had Lewy Blackmore down today – he joined me for a higher volume chest day which he’s not used to but still smashed it! Deffo gunna have some doms tomorrow. Always good to get in with like minded people and build your own atmosphere and energy.

How many of your sets do you take to failure with your training setup now? Are the other working sets close to failure or more feeder sets to fill the muscle with blood?
All sets are working sets to taken to or near failure – sometimes not complete failure where volume is super high
Loading (heavier lower rep) sets are all taken to absolute failure

Keep adding food, keeping an eye on body composition. Strength will continue to go up as you’re in a surplus. Keep repeating this – if composition starts to slide, Hold there for a bit – solidly that weight, if yoh need to drop a bit there then do so. Again, solidly here. Then add again.
This will take time.

Had a fantastic weekend of training – trained at kings last 3 days while up in London and had some banging sessions.
Had my client cal up to train with me today and we had a fantastic session and was really good to look over him in person. 3 weeks out and looking on the money.
Sessions like that and seeing clients reminds me why I love my job and what I do helping others

Slice them relatively thinly, use the 1 cal spray (butter flavour), salt and then air fry

Hey man so I’ve just added 4 screenshots we have normal day which is for legs and chest sessions, we have a rest day on same tab. Then next tabs are upper chest/delts day which is a bit higher, then back days which is higher again.

Big man leg day today! As I said before I’ve been Struggling with getting my body to perform without pain. But last week I think I cracked the code. A touch more warming up, altered the order of the session and the did seated leg press for my main compound as literally anything else aggravates my back where it’s fractured so I just have to work around. And that I shall, but first up today – cardio let’s goooo. Have a good day guys!

My first ever competitive season is over, what a rollercoaster that was!!
Lots of fantastic memories have been made, new friendships formed and current relationships needing mended.
Post show is bloody hard. It’s been 5 days since my final show and to say I’m struggling is an understatement. The hunger!? What the shit is that all about!? And the emotions?! Wow; all over the place. Some days feel like I’m still in the depths of prep and other days feel worse than the depths of prep. Nothing, nothing could’ve prepared me for this part. Just need to keep my head level until it all settles down but the clear thing is that prep takes its toll on everything, and everyone, around you.
If anyone has any words of wisdom here they’d be warmly welcomed

I’ve found elbow cuffing on a cable took so much stress off my shoulder. I have a grade 1 subscap tear so also have to be carful – sounds like your issue is worse of course but it’s something that’s helped me alot. Feel free to send me a vid on ig and I can give you some feedback.

Dropped 2 lb overnight so now sat at 250.9lb and feeling very lean, probs another 6-8 of of bf to come off to be peeled. I want to bring new levels to this game this year. I’ll be good for the regional in 5.5 weeks but the pro q I’m doing in Spain (big man classic – Benidorm) I want to be so fucking peeled I scare old people and make babies cry 😂😂😂
Fr though, a new level of conditioning will be achieved this year
