    Couple of days seeing the mrs in London. Feel absolutely battered so took two days off of training. My doms are just crazy with the higher volume. I think I’m going to have to incorporate another day off as I’m having to just take a forced one every now and again. Which is a sign I need to add one in.

    Will keep you guys posted what I end up doing!

    It may be too much for me and ok for you – different for diff people at diff stages of development (just an example)

    I probs would avoid 4 straight sets

    Try to differ them if you can – or just split the sets over 2 exercises so you get benefit of different stimulus.

    Although I don’t know if your asking this because you have limited access to alternatives.

    Deffo not used the this volume on delts but it feels so damn good and shows me I can literally handle way more volume than I have done so in the past. Just keep going … adaptation is occurring. We are growing 🙏

    If it becomes a few secs and breaths between reps theen those are breathing reps. Keep them continuous imo. Work on your CV health if you’re gassing out.

    Such a good leg day yday

    Had to play with the volume a little bit because first time out I just couldn’t do it on the milos approach – it was just too much lol

    So now we do the Milo’s/higher volume ‘fuck you up’ tyoe sets on smaller exercises like leg ext, ham curl etc but for the compounds were just sticking to straight sets with Normal reps.

    Finding this approach much better!

    Weight is still slowly pushing up now – 275lbs. It’s such a slow process of gaining for me. The biggest I’ve been is 282 in 2021 and I think I’ll surpass that this time but I’ll be in a much better place condition wise. Which should hopefully translate well on stage 🙏

    The push continues. I have uk till end of April to get as big as possible. May will be cruise and maintenance then June we prep 🔥

    I think what Oscar said that was very good. Broken down into points you can assess in your own training to ensure you get the most out of training with correct intensity as well as correct form.

    I’ve had the best couple of days down In Devon this weekend for a much needed rest. Although I’m Ngl I actually feel very tired haha more walking than im used to with the dogs etc and exploring the beaches. But it was the best time! And more importantly the mental reset I needed! Back to the grind tomorrow! Hope you all had the best weekend !

    What are you cutting for bro? Is it a prep? If so then Fatigue is most certainly a part of it we much endure, but of course balanced so you don’t get buried – but then again we gotta do what we gotta do to get lean lol. Lots of variables at play here though.

    If it’s just a general cut and no real ‘pressure’, if you genuinely feel fucked you could maybe just take an extra rest day and assess after that, if still bad look at different deload option.

    Still away today – had a session down in Devon at a very small gym.

    Little bit of a mare, my intra workout drink blew up in my bag – fuming 😂 anyway, I’d already had my 15iu pre workout insulin. I have a good amount of carbs pre and thought things would be ok. Anyway I got a hypo mid session and had to grab a sugary drink from across the road to level out and then carry on.

    None the less the session still got done! Was good in the End

    I guess saying this to show it happened to us all from time to time 🤣

    Great idea here from rich – and mine michaela says just make sure you work it hard In the shorteded

    You can load the lengthened in most other movements but loading directly the short is only really possible on leg ext

    Going down to Devon for the weekend this weekend for some much needed relaxing time! And I cannot wait!

    Obviously going to staying on top with my meal and training etc – travelling for a few days while being a bodybuilder is always a nightmare but it’s part of the life.

    We much be super prepped and ensure we have everything so that’s what we do!
