    So landed and settled in Ibiza now. Will be here for 3 weeks. Gym sorted and also where we’re staying we have all inclusive (that was the plan) … the food is really good. Fresh and healthy so perfect for my needs. Also for my blender for my big shakes too. 🙏

    Long day today but topped off with a pretty good session here in Manchester at my PL coaches gym. I get asked a lot if i have a powerlifting coach and between my partner Max and a good friend Tom Martin, a very experienced and past world record holder himself, i would say they both coach me pretty equally. Tom takes over my training when a comp is in sight, reigns in the crazy lifting and is an extra pair of eyes to oversee what i am doing. Max gets me strong as f*ck! takes full control in an ‘off season’ gaining phase, we (he) sets big goals throughout different stages of my training which allows me to continuously compete with myself to be better and progress through out the year. We do get carried away with my potential and things i ‘could’ do which is why Tom is there to reinstall some sensibility into the more important weeks of meet prep.

    Test 500

    Primo 750

    NPP 150

    DHB 150

    So total was 1550 – but hadn’t started the DHB until literally about 5 minute ago lol as it’s hard to get but I have it now (Quanta)

    So 2 things, I tend to not look at drugs as cutting or growing, yes some are used more for one than the other but its ALL about the environment from which they are used. Largely being – Am I in a deficit or a surplus?

    T4 will help me stay in a leaner state while I push up In Weight and can be ran long term.

    Second thing, I don’t have a ‘normal’ amount of gear per se. I’ll try to use the least I can to get the best result. Of course this will likely titrate up over both a cut and growing phase which is planned simultaneously with each block.

    I would imagine we will push to anything around 2.5g. Hope that helps bud.

    Hey bud. So I actually know what you mean being 6ft 1, on full depth we deffo recruit alot of glute. The best thing I did was introduce a wedge fairly low on the footplate under neath my heel. I then also made sure my feet were no wider than shoulders width apart. With this set up I feel sensation majority in the quad now. You must ‘feel’ the movement for sure otherwise something is wrong so it’s not silly to suggest you chase sensation. Of course we need load and volume in appropriate measure, but without connection/sensation, you’re probably burning yourself out for little gain (where you want it). Hope that helps.

    Plus also maybe a good multi vit. The jp supps are elite as we use the best quoits ingredients available – a lot of other brands use cheaper alternatives to increase their profit margin. So while they may be a touch more expensive … can you really put a price on having the best for you health? You won’t see any Proprietary blends around here 🙂

    Trained at a diff gym yday with some diff friends and we did some flat bench, I haven’t done this in SO long. Did 10 at 140kg then hit 180 for one into a triple drip set which I posted on my IG. Ngl I really enjoyed it, was different and fun to move some tin. Hard to guage where you are always using machines so moving some free weights was just fun. Might do it again soon and see how many I can get out fresh on 160, felt good after doing elbow cuff flies first. I was nice and warm and my chest was already full of blood so i actually felt the bench press sets. Very good session.

    Hey bud I don’t see any issue with this, just allows you to eat more. Id favour steps over direct cardio or at least ‘hard cardio’ as it’ll keep output up with less recovery demands. 20/30 mins light cardio would be fine as well if you enjoy it.

    Hit chest and arms today and felt once again very strong. I’m getting better and stronger every session now. Getting my meals in so the hardest thing atm, we’re sat at 6.5k kcal but tbh it’s easier than last time i was eating this much so no complaints. Body weight is moving well too I’ll keep you posted. 267.2lbs this am and rising 🙂

    What kind of rate of gain are you and Callum looking to see currently? Is that much food a pretty large surplus or are your maintenance needs just that high?

    Hey man hope you’re well. We don’t have a set rate of gain in place but we’d like to hit 280 as our first milestone over the next month or so whilst keeping composition where it is. My maintenance is around 4500 or so maybe a touch more, so yeah a relatively decent surplus there 👊
