    hi kuba! saw your ig vid on the Atlantis smith Machine doing squats; how would you compare them from a hypertrophy perspective vs ssb front and free weight back squats? Been drilling squats force while with great strength gains in a variety of rep ranges but my quad development still sucks. Because of my build free weight bb squats tend to be more hip glute and lower back dominant. Would Smith’s be a viable alternative? just always heard smith squats were the devil lol. Many thanks!

    That’s exactly reason why I do them, it’s far more beneficial from hypertrophy perspective. I can squat heavy and build up serious weight there fast but fact is it won’t build my quads at the same rate as smith would. Using smith I can really focus on placing as much tension through the muscle as possible. Sounds like it would be ideal for your self to do the same

    I am pretty hungry on this still, no meal off plan in about 6 weeks no real desire for it right now.

    Disappointed with today’s performance but it’s all good we crack on and make sure we do better next session just felt a little flat and tired nothing some rest and food won’t solve

    Ok ish session

    Lost weight since adding extra 40 g carb to training day so we add an extra 40 g again to training and 40 to rest day will update diet once I’ve added it.

    I’m on verge of overreaching so no legs tomorrow we will rest then deload legs on Friday rest again Saturday and get back to work Sunday.

    How many steps per day (? What’s your job ( how high is your food intake ?

    So many factors go into it on why you would need cardio or not

    Had to be no lower back loading today, boys were tired and I had acupuncture in my mid/lower back today so it felt very tender.

    It’s going to get hard and your going to have bad days. These days define what your made of to me, do you really have the minerals to do this or no ? Would you rather win or satisfy your hunger ?

    You need to thrive of the hard days and be thankful for the opportunity to be able to do this.

    Bodybuilding is a luxury.

    Busy rest day

    2 hour physio session followed by some shockwave therapy on my pec and delt which is meant to work wonders for scar tissue so I’m looking forward to seeing results from this.

    Next one for shockwave is on Thursday and next physio Friday I’m really staying on top of my treatments this year to maximise EVERYTHING we are doing

    Appetite has also been ski high today which is a positive!

    Lower the load and focus on mind to muscle connection and the tension you are putting through the muscle
    Both tricep and rear delt are small muscles you’ll be surprised how little weight is needed to stimulate those to grow with proper form and tension
