Hey buddy, I also work in construction so I understand what you are going through. When I have a long day I tend to usually increase volume and lower weight for certain exercises as I know I probably can’t lift max load. Then on the good days I’ll stick to my original working sets. Also then if I have another rough day I will rever back to those numbers from the higher volume lower weight day and try and beat those numbers. So I’m still progressing overall.

Hey guys, had a long hard day working yesterday. Got to the gym in the late evening for a rehab session and my back was in a lot of pain so didn’t train after as I was due to train back! Ended up being called to work! Up early for work again today.

Hi Denis, how are you getting to 350g raw? If your meals are 150 and 70? That’s 220 or 440? Obviously you need to do the maths on what you’re meant to be having for your meals and if it’s too complicated to cook them together then cook them separately.

Hey guys, had a busy day at work yesterday but managed to get a good chest session in the evening. Was feeling really tired and not much kick in the gym but hit some decent numbers. Up early again today for work, even longer day ahead!

Hey buddy, if I’m training late like 7/8pm in the evening which I do most days I will have a singe shot of espresso along with a serving of TBJP Pumpage and I have amazing pumps and still feel great during my sessions and I go home and sleep like a baby. You should try the same and see how you feel. I also think if you overthink something it will likely end up happening so if you drink caffeine late and go to bed thinking “I might not sleep because I’ve had caffeine” the chances are you are never going to get to sleep but if you don’t think about it or just be positive about your sleep and somewhat tell yourself that your going to sleep great then you’ll likely fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow.

Hey buddy! If you don’t know what to eat then probably not a good time to do a competition. How long have you been training?

Hey guys, had a good tennis session yesterday! Lost but played well. Spent the afternoon running errands then chilled in the evening. Wanted to sleep in but like every Sunday morning for some reason I wake up at 6am and can’t sleep anymore! Went out for a fasted walk then went to work!

Hi buddy, I very rarely train forearms directly anymore but as Marc has mentioned, hammer curls are great. Also overhand curls with a straight bar or EZ bar. I also try to avoid wearing straps to help grip strength and forearm growth.

Hi Nick, I never used one my whole career but I did used to do vacuum exercises every morning and I had a very small waist but bear in my I was never the highest bodybuilder. I think controlling you mid section is more important than just wearing a waist trainer as I don’t see it making your waist any smaller itself and you can’t wear it on stage so you need to get used to keeping it tucked on all day long really in my opinion.

Hi Daniel, to be honest I never got on with cable adductors and I couldn’t find another solution so I moved to a gym that had the machine.

February 17, 2026 at 7:34 pm in reply to: Test deca mast?

Hey Jonathan. Personally I would run either Deca or Mast. Not both at the same time.

Hey, why is that the case, I have seen that it is an not so common cycle but haven’t seen why? Is it because one dries you out and one puts on fluid?

Would the test mast not make me gain more fluid than low test high deca mast?

Most would opt for mast in a cut ofc so then going 100test-50mast would be good no? Also healthy to have a long clearence time for deca yes?

    Thanks!

Hi Jonathan, personally I just don’t like using too many compounds I like to keep things really simple I don’t even run orals anymore I just would run 2 compounds at a time. I have cut on test & deca and I have cut on test & mast and yielded great results from both, likely in an offseason I have used both and had great results from both. I thinking gaming fluid/ water retention is massively down to nutrition as I’ve been very lean and dry on test and deca.
