Oats will always take longer to digest than cereal as they have a higher fat content which will slow down digestion. Post workout you went a fast digesting carb source to replenish glycogen stores as quickly as possible.

I have tried berry flavoured pepto pro before and it didn’t taste bitter. You could always use a flavoured carb source too..

Hey buddy, personally if I’m using intra carbs I tend to wait a little longer to eat as my blood glucose reading is usually high after having intra carbs. So I would drive home and have whey and cereal (30 mins post workout) then 2 hours after that meal I would eat a solid meal of protein and carbs with low fat.

Hey buddy, I keep mine in a cupboard in the house and I always swap the vials with a alcohol wipe before use.

Good morning everyone! Woke up tired and sore today! Had a really good pull workout at kings! Going to hit some push in a few hours then head over to watch the 2bros event in Crawley. Is anyone else going to watch or competing?

Hey buddy, for me fish digests substantially more easier and faster than chicken does! Much more easily absorbed!

Good evening guys, had a rest day today. Going to train over the weekend. Slightly lowered carbs today and done fasted 20 mins cardio. What are you guys training this weekend?

I personally only use Dymatize ISO100 as it’s the only whey protein powder that sits ok on my stomach. I can absorb and digest it easily without any bloat or stomach issues. I am excited to try the whey products that TrainedbyJP nutrition will be releasing in the near future as I know the quality will be fantastic! Keep an eye out for them!

Good afternoon guys! Smashed legs today at kings gym! Great workout. Diet has been good since I’ve been back from Croatia and did another 20 mins of fasted cardio today I think I’ll stay at that amount for now as it’s easily manageable. What are you guys training today?

Hey buddy, it’s been a bit of a weird one really. Obviously having both of these holidays booked and James having to move to Norwich for the forseeable future has put a pin in the works and I’ve been very relaxed on my diet but training very hard but soon as I’m back from this trip I will get back onto a diet plan. Let my body balance back out and flatline then I’ll increase food from that point. I’m off cycle now just on a low cruise so my body is just recovering a little soon it will be time to kick things up a notch. How’s your prep going? What was your result on your last show? I saw you qualified for the finals but wasn’t sure what happened at the show.
Yeah I can imagine! From your log I imagine it has been strange being more relaxed w diet but probably good for you mentally! I’m excited to follow your next phase as you gain, with your shape + extra tissue, will be hard to beat!
I did qualify for finals although calling an end to this prep, I don’t feel I have the size YET to contend for the overall + pro card, and that’s the goal. So taking some time to lay on some tissue to be able to hang with the big lads! Thinking long term goals! Added a good deal of of food and have gotten leaner + much fuller so it’s going well ha![/quote]
That’s great buddy! I think it’s better to try and keep it quite lean even though I don’t always follow that as I enjoy to physically and mentally relax a lot more when I’m not prepping. I will drop the hammer too and some serious gains will be made! Keep me posted on how your getting on. I struggle to stand next to the big guys too!LouisMoylan

I wasn’t using GH and only used it for some short periods during prep.

Hey buddy, this is certainly possible but they’re are many variables in this matter! It’s an extremely dangerous drug so please be careful when using! I have used very small amounts pre and post workout while on prep and lost fat and stayed full.

Hey buddy, I personally prefer to separate cardio and weight training. However if your schedule can only fit them together I would do it post workout. I wouldn’t avoid doing cardio just because it’s leg day and offseason or pre contest is dependant on your goal!

Good evening guys! Landed home from Croatia at around 1.30 am this morning as was delayed! Had a few hours kip then got up and done 20 mins fasted cardio! Ate a few meals then had a great shoulder session at Kings Gym with Matt O’Reilly! Went to work before and after the gym and managed to get some meal prep done this evening! Probably hit some back or legs tomorrow after work in the afternoon! If anyone has any questions about my current nutrition or training moving forward hit me up below guys!
