So I would say eating enough calories in from a good balance of carbs, fats and protein will still see you gain weight. From a health standpoint this will be great for your cardiovascular system and training performance wise you will find when working across higher rep ranges in particular you will see a great benefit from an endurance standpoint

Hi guys, first day back training today after a 4 day de-load. Good to be back in the gym and getting after it. Today is day 1 of prep, but Kuba hasn’t made changes to my food today in the back of my bodyweight coming down 0.8kg on average from last week with rest day food / lower steps. Steps back up to 9k daily and tomorrow is a small check in with visuals so will get some more direction from there. Bloodwork taken fasted this morning which will then help map out the direction for prep

Well after a few weeks of preparing and keeping the surprise from kerry, I proposed her on Friday in front of her close family and also mine. A special evening and one with much meaning. It was nice to be away for a few days and also take a step back from social media and be in the moment.

Prep is starting for me this week, I’m really excited to get this underway and deliver my best physique to date on stage under the guidance of Kuba

Hi Joe, what would you normally wear when it’s a little warmer? I would just revert back to that clothing

    Incredible work Damian!!!

I have seen your cut pictures progress a huge well done. Now I personally think your next steps is largely based around your adherence and how much leaner you are willing to get. You could start to reverse diet from where you are, but if adherence to diet is good and you can pull off a few more kg then this will be added benefit for when you start to reverse diet.

Hi guys, few days break away with kerry. Client worked ticked off early morning then now in holiday mode for a few days completely switching off and enjoying some time with kerry and her family. We are out tonight for Kerry’s grandmas 92nd birthday meal (it’s her actual birthday tomorrow) so an off plan meal for me and kerry today. Looking forward to this evening! Hope everyone has a good weekend

For me it’s personal. What my goal is and remembering that. Not every session will be one where I am fired up to train. But knowing i haven’t achieved what I want to achieve yet in the sport is enough to help me “find it” for that session. Find your why and make it happen in a way that works for you

    Hi guys

I just realised I did not do my log yesterday, I apologise for this. Yesterday was a very difficult day for me, my school friend / client was yesterday laid to rest passing away at only 39 years of age. I won’t hide the last few weeks have been difficult and the gym has been my release big time.

I am away from today until Sunday with kerry visiting her family. Really looking forward to this mini break

Final week in off season. Definitely felt tired going into today’s session, but got after it “nobody cares, work harder”. Another session with all lifts progressed. Very happy because it was really mind over matter. Midweek check in today, Kuba was really pleased with the visuals – a perfect spot to be in ahead of prep starting next week. I’m confident the transition from off season to prep will be a good one

So, it’s going to be a 3 day training week for me. From Thursday – Sunday I will be travelling down south with kerry to see her family so a planned in de-load for 4 days will be in place. But for now, business as usual and I will be training pull, push and legs this week.

Started the week with my usual pull session, a strong session ticked off and progression with my lifts. I do think if I was to push past this week before a pull back I’d likely take a hit with training as I’ve pushed the barriers here with training progressions, but I’m happy I did this with my off season coming to a close after this week

I agree with the replies from the time. To add, if you will be doing steps on the treadmill when the weather is not so good I would make a note of what speed you do this at which is a steady walk and not making you out of breath. You can then stay using this same speed (without an incline) each time you use the treadmill for consistency
