Have you ever had anyone assess your form at all? What is it you are struggling with / what pain are you getting?

Yes I believe I ruptured somewhere in my spine a very long time ago, had an expert take a look. Only seems to flare up during heavy hinges, never on squats or any other heavy excercises

Hypers will never irritate there and they actually train the ham way better than any hinge does imo . The hinge is an erector / glute / adductor / ham mix . The hyper if done very accurately is way way way more ham

Thankyou I’ll give them a go

You will get 90 percent of your ham gains from curls . Can you hyper ?

I’ll give hyper a try, the issue stems from my upper back.

    Are you assisted or natural?

have you checked your hormones via bloodwork

Natural, haven’t checked hormones. I’m not very knowledgable on this, what would be off with hormones causing acne ? Imbalance in test ?

If having an offplan in the offseason what I tend to do is pull last two meals of the day and replace with a small meal of choice . Main thing to remember is you don’t want to binge or go over board and not mess digestion up for your meals the next day . Pick something that sits well .

    Thanks I’ll keep in mind

Well the main question its what are you doing as a cheat meal.

For myself and what I recommend to Clients to do is simply switch a meal out for something they fancy that is good quality – so there is no need to mess around with food intake etc etc.

I will also place them the night before weak body parts of focus areas so the additional kcal is used were we want it.

Advise to take additional TBJP digest pro and Insure with the meal.

However if your going at the cheat meal as a binge and being daft with it then you could well need to drop cals/carbs during the day however this is not ideal at all nor is it a healthy mindset/behaviour.

Going for a good quality burger and fries or pizza or greek meal for example night before legs is totally fine and going to help your progress.

going mad with dominoes and cookies/ice cream and sweets is going to mess your digestion/make you feel crap and hold a chunk of water likely reducing performance and progress

    Thankyou !

    Hey Marcus!

Where abouts do you get the acne?

Accutane is extremely harsh, and it can massively affect mental health. But there are small number of people who have successfully used accutane and not suffered any issues with mental health.

I would first seek help from a skin care specialist who can help you with the right treatment before.

Have you changed anything else recently that seems to have made your acne breakout more, or just the increase in carbs?

Increase in carbs does seem to be the main trigger, I’m sure a poor diet would hurt it too, but I keep it clean always. I mostly get it on my face

Have you trialled removing x carb sources and figuring out if it’s a certain food that triggers it? Aside from that I would keep diet clean, have a good skincare routine.

Personally when I run a cycle I get greasier skin so I wash my face 3x a day and shower daily sometimes twice daily if I’ve sweat a lot or it’s a hot day

I’m honestly not too sure if it’s a specific carb source, definetely a good point. I’ll experiment with different carbs when I scale them up. Thankyou

Thinking outside of the box here but do you have a skin care routine also? You track your micro nutrients but are you having enough fruit & veg? Do you consume much dairy? Do you have many Offplan meals?

I haven’t had a meal off plan in a couple months now, I do have a skincare routine yes. Fruit and veg with every meal. As of right now it’s not terrible, it just flares up a lot when I begin massing, maybe due to the carbs

I would not recommend, terrible for mental health

How bad is your acne ? What’s your diet like ?

What Supps are you taking ?

    What’s cycle ?

    Thanks for the reply,

In terms of diet I do exclusively eat whole foods excluding protein powder, I track my micronutrients daily and hit them entirely through food. I’m not running any cycle either.

Acne can get extremely bad at times, it does seem that when I push carbs a bit more it gets a lot worse. As for supplements I take : MSM, Ashwaganada, Magneisum, B5 + Vitamin E, Vitamin D, Omega 3.

I’ve heard that only some experience bad side effects, is this not the case ? Even so, do you still advise against ?
