It all depends on where you are mentally if you are feeling strong and 0’issues with adherence get as lean as you can. Leaner you can get the longer you will be able to stay in a surplus after!
This is what we always do with our self and clients, ALL in for dieting or push ups nothing half in. Get the job done chase down your goal and then another.

I use a timer on my phone rather than a clicker, I click 10’second on timer then hit my pose and hold for 10’seconds
Works out perfectly as it forces me to hold my poses for longer when I take check ins and practice

Hey guys
Day 2 of 3 days rest – I fucking hate being out the gym. Annoying.
Anyway needs must.
It’s given a chance to sort some things out that have been needing to be done for a week or so.
I could eat my arm today ahah, glad appetite seems a little better too
Can’t wait for push on Tuesday

I do agree with Hilly that those things can really help and over time these may help everything come back in range
But seeking real advice through an endo like Michaela had said or through a true hormone private clinic to really help – if you risk hormones running low for a long time you run the risk of being peri menopausal

Hey guys
1st of 3 rest days –
Today was spent working, seeing a client at the gym, a little more work and then headed to see kubas nephew for his birthday.
Was really nice to have a massage this morning, need to make sure all is ready to rock and roll for Tuesday back in the gym

I agree with Clare – go and enjoy your holiday. Make some good choices with quality of food and the quantity of them – I think it’s a great time to take some time off training, I’m sure you’ll stay active as you sound as though you enjoy living the healthy life that you do – your body will be thankful once home to get back to it

Hey All
A solid leg session today – I had reduced my load on my smith squats for some time as when I added the safety attachments it’s was humbling to say the least and my reps were a bit shit, so I reset and today went back in with 3pps and it felt SO good. The rest of the session was nice and progressive.
I had fed back to kuba in his feedback on Monday that a delaod was imminent, as we haven’t ran one in 7 weeks, we didn’t run one in Colombia and even though I was told to do some reduced sessions post my injections and travel when arriving home I didn’t, because I know my body and I felt great – but we need one now as we were both getting a little irritable and sleep is a bit shit so we are running one post this session. 3 days rest, 3 lower vol sessions then back to it.
My bodyweight has moved well this week I look like a sack of shit but that’s alright. Re-set, drop a bit more then get back to eating – I’m just ready for it.

Yes I agree with Clare – but my question also is do you know how to train to failure? If not you probably won’t know where 1-2 reps pre failure would be so I’d just reduce volume through sets rather than intensity,
If doing actual rest – I’d do one to two session at lower vol before going back full ham otherwise you’ll just feel trashed again – warm up before you start pushing

Hey All
Hope you’ve had a good Thursday
Today was a rest day for me.
Nothing super exciting just a day of work, massage, dog walking and this afternoon I went to see my niece and nephew – I like my rest days to be away from the gym environment.
When I was diving i wouldn’t go to the pool when it was off day – we were made to rest and recuperate. It’s a great way to reduce stress.
Look forward to legs tomorrow

Hey Guys
Push day today –
Was really happy with how the session moved – on this session I’ve continued to see nice progress even in a deficit – we may say don’t get weak in a deficit but for me push does go, I’m not running any anabolic a and whilst we don’t rely on them for strength they almost help with that stability you do loose when the chub comes off especially around the lil elbows and shoudlers – but some nice progress.
Consistently pressing 3 plates on the Atlantis shoulder now so hoping we can trend that to 3.5 plates next push and maybe a tad further 🙌🏽

I agree with Kuba – heaviest carb meals will be best placed there. I take it a little before like Michaela for myself
