    Hey.

So the idea behind splitting the expenditure across the day is it aids digestion if you move a little and often, rather than a huge stint then nothing. Digestion is critical in a diet phase and in an offseason. The idea behind basic expenditure steps isnt to hinder recovery but aid it. Doing all your steps and cardio at once will hinder your recovery.

There’s nothing negative about doing cardio. I’d like to see it as far away from the workout as possibly but there is nothing wrong with doing cardio at all. Some people have to in order to get things moving in a diet phase

Personally i would always opt for IM – I have found almost every one gets issues when injecting it Subq.

It will still work to some extent on an empty stomach but it works better with carbs – its about looking at the benefits you are wanting from it in terms of timing etc

thanks Peter..I get lumbs in my stomach from the sub injections so I prefer IM ..and will do it preworkout with my intracarbs then..[/quote]
I’m in agreement with Hilly and for what we’d utilise it for as BB i think it’s good to sit it here

I always go intra-muscular, I find it the most painful injection I do haha. But rotate with glutes, shoulder, quad, lat – depending on when I’m training

    Hey Guys

Hope you’ve all had a great day.

Push session for us today. I took my weights back a little on my first press as they were getting a little ugly. And being away from
Cycle I always see push get a tad affected on my presses, not so much this time which shows lots of tissue has been built but still a little, which is ok.

A busy morning of client check ins and admin bits and back on top, Mondays are always a little busier as days but everything still gets done 🙂

I always find with a little strain it’s only when under quite a bit of load / strain is when the niggle is worst.

I’d be cautious with doing any hammie work until you seen a professional to have a little look over the issue

Yeah I agree with Rich really…you want to be doing a continuous rep set, one rep id allow a second longer pause before going again but no more than that

    Hey all

A lovely leg day! Settling back in through pulling out a couple sets in my session, my leg days are pretty low in vol so I don’t need to adjust them too much,

A nice evening out also seeing friends and having some food, the look and thought of food isn’t the most appealing at the moment but it’s gotta go in so no time to be a pussy

I agree with Clare, there can be many reasons behind it but a full panel will give a little more data. Once you’ve got that post it to see what could be of help to you!

    Rest Day today.

Was super – work done ✔️ and I went to see my grandparents, it’s always so lovely and they gave me some pics from when I was little with my brother!

Back in for hamstrings tomorrow and I can’t wait to bloody GO

We also saw ant man today at the cinema, I really really enjoyed it!

Reference point me and kuba always use,

As long as your lower back is NOT hanging over your posing trunks or the pants you are good. The second it does you are likely getting too fat.

As long as your insulin sensitivity is in tact you are good.

A super busy day today … a nice in person check in with one of my long standing clients, deep into offseason, but we have just completed a little tidy up, she looks phenomenal, it’s great to work with the people I do as they all apply themselves with so much passion!

Tomorrow I’m going to visit my grandparents as I haven’t seen them for 10 days so it’s time!!

Run extra rest days and stick to your usual sessions with reduced training volume

    3 days rest
    Push
    Rest
    Pull
    Rest
    Legs
    Rest
    Back to work here

Extra rest today as kuba was feeling smashed, it worked out well as I had a lot of work to catch up on.

Food prep, shopping & work the usual day for me, now competition season is coming up all the girls and boys need some extra attention so it is quite intense right now but I love it.

I have a couple of guys over in the states who like something sweet on their plan and we utilise Kodiak cakes – if you enjoy them then use them, your other meals can be of raw whole foods. I see no bother if they digest well and you get some enjoyment from them
