What doesn’t feel great about it bud exactly ? For most people i would honestly just load mid peg and focus on set up and execution then on this piece I like 30% mid peg 70% top peg mainly.

Depends where you also place it in your workout.

I have it second in my upper back day after the life fitness seated row, I feel when I load the top peg as I get to the top of the rep I’m going to come out of the seat and feels like my hips are travelling backwards as the top has very little resistance.

I might do as you said and just focus on mid peg as this is what I do on the incline press and have made a lot of progress on it.

This is where Kuba sits my extreme row in my rotation with it in.

We utilise the same loading procedure as you stated.
I used to find myself feeling unsteady when I used to load too heavy. Or not to the correct form.

I like to dig my feet into something on the floor too to help stability – usually someone’s feet or some 20kg plates will work.

Use the bad to create counter force drive your chest in, curl your hips slightly under and keep these contact points at all times

    Lil rest day here.

Nothing dramatic happening just eating meals + went to see the family and worked

Tomorrow will be an additional rest day – ahead of hamstrings on Sunday

I have a couple of clients coming to the gym tomorrow to look over some training, so it’ll be nice to do that 🙏🏼

If your strength is climbing well and progress is happening physique wise I wouldn’t. Strength build us like volume build, the stronger you get the more volume your body is upholding. More sometimes means less strength. I’d rather my strength build

    Happy Thursday all

A super productive day today with work and life jobs. Feels good to have done lots of things heading to the weekend for a big leg session, so can full focus on that.

Today I hit a BW I’ve never hit before. I do feel a little heavy. I’m not a mass monster guy lol but I do feel it. My condition is staying really strong though, I’ll share my physique when I feel some serious changes have happened, to share my journey. Mentally I don’t struggle with offsesson I just get it done ☑️ it is what it is.

    Hey Rob

    Hope you’re well

Amazing to hear you’re enjoying this style of training and found a new love through it too. Lots of us on here can really resonate with your new found love

I would definitely run a diet phase pre pushing up. You don’t have to take out of plan meals but definitely track them into your daily cals to make sure you can still make progress with those.

I’d add in some cardio and look to drop your cals by 200kcal and after a week asses how visually and statistically how things are moving. I presume it will move quick. Once you achieve a desired look start to slowly increase the cals to maintain the look you want

A solid solid session in the gym today.

Managed a great PB for real solid reps on my incline on the smith. Felt great going into the session. So I felt good to push for some extra weight.

I have 2 other presses in this session too and all those took a little step forwards.

This is one of the shorter of my sessions but getting strong in it, so it feels like a long session

You can do what kuba states if you don’t like the flavour.

I think everyone’s taste buds are different

My favourite amino is the watermelon or peach MPS

    Happy Tuesday All

    A rest day, productive day.

Obviously one of the first days back at work for most so the places I count ring or contact during the stint in America / Christmas period I had to get done today, lots of “little jobs” done so can focus on main things

Looking forward to training Upper tomorrow, see how the smith feels in my hands tomorrow and hopefully push some new weights / rep PBs xx

I agree with the guys gaining a imagery to see what’s truly going on

For training as much as it sucks you’ll have to steeer clear of things that aggregate look to do 2 sets only of pressing and ajoining other movements that don’t hurt to the program .

Hopefully the scan and treatment can have you back in the gym doing what you want – even if it’s just some ultra sound / shock wave to help. But we all have niggles we have to work around it sucks but at least we can still do most things

Hi Meg! Thanks for the reply and the tips. I did get the mri but it showed nothing at all unfortunately.. but I received some good exercises and stretches from Adam earlier. Hopefully it will work along with scaling down a bit in the certain exercises that hurt as you mentioned. 2023 might be a good year after all 🙂[/quote]
Don’t let an injury de-rail you. My knees are fucked I have to work around them and can’t do specific movements it shit yes but we get to do other movements and get great at those so a win 🥇 have a great 2023

    Happy Monday Y’all

    Today was legs

    A super solid session

Start the cybex with 3pps. I would love to work up to 4 I will take my time as I want to keep good reps and enough of them to call it a “set” but really happy and I felt really comfortable under the bar.

I’m a bit of buffalo atm, well I feel like one. Lol. I’m actually pretty lean for my weight right now, so I’m looking forward to build up from here

    Happy New Years Day

A lovely day working snd then seeing friends / family

Tomorrow is a leg day for me so I’m excited as we’ve moved some things around so I can have the cybex smith squat in, which I’m so excited for. After that will be the DB RDL and then my leg press has been moved to my other session which has the BB RDL in as the main movement:)

    I agree with Rich.

Would a simple P, P, Arms, Legs work more effectively rather than all the above – but a little more context on the things Rich mentioned along with some pics.

Sometimes getting too confusing with your split because a little too much

    Hey Guys

    Happy New Yeats Eve

A solid day in the gym today…a pull session so nothing too exciting.
But managed to progress things on all my pills and rows. Excited to see what lots of repetition, getting stronger and staying consistent will bring to the physique

Some solid glute work also, I know this is an area that needs to be developed hard, so doing all I can to that too.

I’ve actually been vacuuming daily since show, it’s not something I’ve really done before but seems to be really making my front and side shots look better even in the off-season 🙏🏼

I like to incorporate it to my warm up routine pre the gym, as I feel everyone should do something pre the first exercise. Meaning no extra time at all.

Given if you don’t want to do that why don’t you include it on a couple rest days per week? Somewhere you have a spare 5 mins at home. Get yourself a bar door attachment for leg raises, or an ab roll out, or a db for some crunches.

Where there is a will there is a way and it not to impact your schedule
