At 8 weeks out there is no need to be aware of water retention. Water manipulation happens in the last days/hours before a show. Just make sure you drop your bodyfat as low as possible and most of the water will go away by itself.

If you split it appart it’s not a ppl split any more in my opinion. For example on a push day starting with a chest and shoulder compound movment your triceps should already be pre exhausted, so the don’t need a lot of direct work any more at the end of the session to safe time and overall volume for better recovery capabilities.

The goal should not be to spend more time in the gym but to make your time in the gym as effective as possible!

Sounds like a very good set up mate. But like you said already. It could be tough to get 3 good rotations in a home gym.

I have no reverse hyper but I like to simulate the machine with bands and it always felt very good to me. I think it has proven that it’s a very effective exercise because even if it’s not very much stimulating hypertrophy itself but when it helps drive your numbers up in the deadlift, rdl, squat, bb row etc and keep your back healthy it’s very good for hypertrophy indirectly!

I’m just doing 2 sets for chest a week and it’s more than enogh in my case.

The most important thing is: are you making progress in your compound chest move? As long as you are progressing everything is fine

I always rest the day before and after a heavy leg or deadlift session. If in doubt i always take an extra rest day
