    Always a fun read to read your log Nathan.
    I have a very simple question for you. Or 2 actually 🙂

    1. Do you count the protein from MPS Max into your daily protein intake. I believe a serving of 22grams has 10 grams of protein in amino acids.
    2. What is your flavour for CoR and Whey Iso? And do you blend them together? 🙂

    fave combo cookies & cream COR and choc caramel performance isolate

    I make a whey past and pour on top

    Have you got some pictures buddy? So we can assess current body comp. There’s plenty of things that can cause this? Have you gained weight quickly in this push phase? Are you doing any cardio? Mobility work? E2 shouldn’t be too high here with this set up unless your mast isn’t mast. But everyone is different. Have you had any bloodwork?

    Great session in the books today. A little
    Different with some intensity techniques and a little more volume across the session.

    Great start to the week. Last week was a little inconsistent for my liking i terms of structure but this week has started very well.

    Training, nutrition, and work.

    Tomorrow is legs at Musclefactory I will
    Pop over and see Chris my first coach. Early night again tonight so I’m fully in my normal routine!

    I think the guys have covered all bases here it’s very person dependent and it’s about trialling and assessing the response. But it’s only as and when needed

    Evening guys back in for push today…..

    I think I’ve got away lucky with my pec niggle from last week. I started rehab straight away and today I was able to do some high volume work which felt great so very happy!

    Another very busy one at the laptop either side of training so getting in bed am shutting off for an early start tomorrow and then a pull session

    Evening guys a great end to a very busy weekend. Checked my athletes in this AM then went to train back & delts

    Back home showered then caught the train to Manchester to meet friends for tea. Gave me chance to do another bourse work whilst on the train.

    Early start again tomorrow! Do it all over again!

    You could try carb cycling around your most demanding days with the numbers your giving its around 17000 kcals per week

    Example
    3 high days 2750
    3 medium days 2250
    1 day at 2000

    I would be looking at maybe 3 weights sessions a week to allow for recovery maybe 4 at a push. And see how that goes.

    Then just make some adjustments from there bud.

    But if performance is the main goal here for your BJJ you want to take the cut a little slower or your going to run into fatigue issues quite quickly.

    Evening guys!

    Crazy busy weekend for me and Pheebs Thursday and Friday was driving to and from Scotland for Pheebs to do a guest speaking at a female seminar on what it takes to become and IFBB pro and talk about her journey. Which was amazing to see how much she’s grown as a person.

    Then today we did a posing seminar partnered with 2bros in derby for which went really well. There were over 60 athletes there I took nearly 20 bodybuilders and pheebs did 2 sessions with bikini and wellness and then figure!

    I’ve literally just got off the laptop as I’ve had a consultation and 2 set ups since we get up. The coaching team is growing and I’m very happy with how things are going. Structure and routine is now more important than ever so I can make sure all my clients are attended to. And I’m still nailing all my variables for me to keep making progress.

    Back in the gym tomorrow! Which I’m excited to get a big session in! My pec is feeling better Atter a couple of rest days so hopefully I will be back to light loading next week to test it out.

    Morning guys! Long drive up to Scotland yesterday. It was rest day so boxed some
    Work off in the morning then around 6 hours up to Scotland! So we had some food and got in bed for an early night.

    We got up this AM did some cardio and had a sauna in the spa. Just finished breakfast smoked haddock and poached eggs was banging! Some natural yoghurt and fruit. Then I have all my meals with me for the day

    Time to box a few hours work off. Then Pheebs has a guest speaking at a seminar on what it takes to becomeIFBB pro! Which will be exciting for her.

    Crazy busy weekend ahead but it’s all good. May try and sneak in a quick gym session today too!

    Pull session today which went surprisingly very well. Little bit of a different format today with a touch more volume which worked very nice. Didn’t have any affect on my pec which felt better again. So I’m
    Really hoping I’ve got away with just a small tear and it will be good to go In 2-3 weeks I will try loading very light as from next week. I’m going to book and see a specialist to look at any imbalances I may have to get worked out

    Very busy day as usual with new
    Clients coming on board and ready to move into the season openers

    Ive never had reports from clients about sides from tamoxifen either. Ralox is harder to source so not had much experience with this.

    Ive only used tamox a couple of times myself in the past but never any negative sides

    Evening guys.

    Day after the pec issue. Mobility is better than expected (better than last time) and pain is a little less. So that’s a positive. I will start rehab work tomorrow morning and night and peptide healing protocol as already started so fingers crossed I can be recovered quickly from this.

    I have spoken with Cal and we may have to look at our training set up, with the risk of injury on my push sessions to more volume work and “pump” work

    It’s frustrating having injuries but it comes with the territory. So I will dust myself down and crack on. See how pull goes tomorrow!

    So not the best day to be fair! Started off as normal cardio and client work

    Then I trained push with a client who was filming for YouTube. We had a good warm up and did some mobility exercises

    First exercise smith press low incline on the Watson smith which is heavy. And I like working into my heavy set here. So I will sometimes do a higher rep set as my 1st,

    1 plate x 10
    1.5 x 7
    2 x 4

    Worked at 2.5 it was moving easy and smoothly 9th rep had maybe 14-15 in the tank, I felt the exact same feeling I did last year like a snake bite! but on the way up half way through the rep. I finished the rep but I knew something had happened,

    There was the same pain, and feeling as last year, gutted to say the least, but I know what needs to be done. I know I can recover and I know how to do so.

    I went into prep with this last year and won my pro card so it won’t stop my Progress. It just comes with the territory. Shit happens you can’t dwell on this it’s how you handle it and recover
