Ive had the umbilical repair around 8 years ago. Very simple procedure and was back to full power within 6 weeks, training light after 2 weeks resting at home.

I’ve now got 2 abdominal hernias however so I’ll be going under the knife again at some point. Very common mate go get it checked out and your gp will advise.

    Dimension!!

Dimension was always one of the better ones. As i say i’m using a vial of the Tren Ace at the minute and “touch wood” no problems from about 5-6 shots. But after this vial is done i’ll swap to Sphinx just in case the other vial i have has AIDs in it. Rather lose £25 than a chunk of flesh.[/quote]

Yeah it just takes one bad jab to put you off. As you say why risk it. It’s a fucking sad state of affairs too many abcess scares recently I’m guessing a lot of fakes in circulation.

So occasionally after a hard session I’ll start going hypo – not using insulin at present and I’m probably needing more carbs intra workout as today I only had 25g of cluster dextrin as I’m trying to clean up a bit but what are some good sources to grab when I’m in the grips of a full on hypo? Sweating and shaking and feeling absolutely ravenous lol. I usually do 100g Rice Krispies with 2 scoops of isolate in water and today I also had 2 pieces of white bread and jam and some jelly beans to try and stop the hypo.

I would say I’m an advanced lifter training for 15 years, around 120kg at 6ft and not too fat. On tri test and mast cycle at present. 600/400 mg pw at present.

Anyone have similar and what is your go to foods to counter a hypo?

    Thanks.

if this is a common thing then you have an issue with your diet or health and I would look to rectify this. If you are always going hypo post workout then you need to look to amend this. By altering carb amounts and types around your workout.

It only happens once every few months maybe. I think it was due to waiting too long to eat my pwo meal tbh or due to having done a tough workout I should’ve had more carbs. Since this happened I’ve upped my intra carbs and I make sure I have my pwo meal as soon as I’m home. All good so far.

    Cheers

Yes bud that’s fine, so use cyclic dextrin again if your blood glucose drops it will pick it right up again straight away. It’s much faster than lucozade or anything else really

Most of the guys on here offer coaching, I know Jamie gets some great results with his clients, coaching wise for me i’d rather have someone who has been there and done it, nothing against the likes of Nathan Harman but the guy doesn’t look like he has ever set foot in the gym. Fair enough he might know how to get people in shape but if they have never gone through the trials of a prep themselves I don’t think id feel comfortable using them.

I believe Nathan was a champion cyclist and is a real nutritional whiz. I get the part about him not being a bodybuilder but you can’t deny the physiques he has produced.

Their are a lot of good “Budget whey proteins” actually just cause its not pure isolate does not mean its shit

Not every one can afford yamamoto,dymatizeiso100 etc…

While I was a student money was pretty low.

I used Bulkpowders Whey 80 (it digested fine with me then)
If their was a sale I would use Bulkpowders whey 90.

Also when I was a student I would often check Ebay for short dated proteins (Often with 2-3 months till expiry), I often got the Reflex Instant whey Hd (Which is actually a very good budget protein)

    ^^^ This.

I’ve used dymatize and it doesn’t mix well at ALL. It also tastes disgusting.

I’ll say the same for Mutant whey iso which is £55 for 2kg and it’s like pure sugar. Mixes very well but my god it’s sweet.

Loads of good proteins for not much money. And some massive physiques have been built on very tight budgets.

Gatorade and Powerade are caffeine free the monster drinks are not

Thanks John, I don’t take additional caffeine so this is important.

I for some reason I am really insulin sensitive (never touched insulin) but a couple hours after meals I get all the signs of going hypo – Lucozade tablets are what I see prescribed all the time, its effectively just a glucose tablet. Dextrose in squash for me is probably the quickest fix – just have some made up in the car to sip post workout for emergencies.

Lucozade actually does the trick, will start keeping some on hand.
