Down 1 lb again today. So nearly a full week on the higher carb menu Chris sent me, results … fuller in and out the gym, better workouts, crazier pump (yes I focus on the pump and feel ankle strength and numbers) and my weight loss has stopped. Appetite is also levelled off which is nice cos I’m was very hungry last week

The look is definitely fuller and tighter with no condition loss

Looking forward to tonight’s burger fries. Gonna go with McDonald’s, 2 double cheese burgers and 2 large fries

Train chest and abs today. Really good session, high pace, short rest periods, most machine work so I could focus more on volume and pump

Chest and abs
Cybex pec dec 3 x 10-12
Cybex incline 3 x 6-10
Cybex flat pin stack 3 x 8-12
Cybex high incline 2 x 10-15
Cable fly 7 x 10-12
Rope ab crunches 4 x 12-15

what is the science behind burger and fries, would it not be more controllable if chris just increases your food fron cleaner sources? 😃

Junky carbs fats sodium grease just hits / fills my muscle differently to clean food. Gives a heavier more dense feel and that fuels better workouts and better growth. I can add a 3000 calories clean cheat and I wake up feeling maybe fuller but just not in the same way

Same weight today 249. I do feel a little leaner.

Chris has instructed a cheat meal tomorrow on top of the current higher carb menu.

2 burgers 2 fries replacing meal 4

If I must lol.

I trained arms today and it was awesome. The pump and connection was perfect. I think for me with my aches and pains, exercise selection and rep form is key to getting the most out of my session and trying to stay away from joint pain.

The other factor is pace. Low-moderate rest periods is also key so I don’t get a chance to build up too much strength and more importantly keep the pump going hard, really fill the muscle up throughout the session

Nailed it today

Arms and calves
Donkey calf raise 5 x 20
Tricep Rope extensions 4 x 12-15
Close grip bench press 4 x 6-10
Over head v bar extensions 4 x 8-12
Ez bar push downs 4 x 8-12
Db curls 4 x 6-10
Single cable curls 4 x 8-12
Rope hammer curls 4 x 12-15
Machine seated curls 3 x 10-15

I think it’s wise you’re getting readings done, but also levels vary so much form person to person it’s hard to diagnose it properly. Personally when I use npp / deca I lose libido. Especially when it’s that high compared to rest. If it’s ME id drop the npp out, increase test to 500-600 and maybe raise eq to 300. But again, this is me, and every can respond very differently

Thanks for getting back to me Sas

I understand everyone responds different and in some cases it’s trail and error

After getting my blood results back I will be putting test up regardless

If I was so drop out NPP (which I am considering as this seems to be the only problem for me atm) will my prolactin level come down on there own? Or will have have to implement some P5P to help that come down?

Thanks
So when I don’t use npp / deca my prolactin is usually in a good place. You could do that and re test bloods or as an insurance policy just add p5p like hilly says above for the remainder of your cycle there’s no harm in that

Big man. So buzzing to see you’re back with Chris. Apologies if you’ve said already. But what’s your thoughts and plans for stage in the next season?

And has Chris looked at changing much from your training/nutrition/drugs etc

Hope you’re well big man.

Joe my man, always great seeing you pop up here : D

We want to the arnold classic Uk in 20 weeks. But that depends on me invite. Which I’m not sure I’ll get. Either way it’ll be a show / shows spring time if I can.

I teamed back up with Chris when I wanted to cut a little weight to get appetite back etc, he kept things the same pretty much but has increased my carbs. He want to see me get tighter but fuller and rounder which has been happening since he upped carbs this Monday gone

Drugs are the same 600 test, 400 mast, 2.5 gh AM and PM. No insulin etc. not yet anyway

Training he never changes, he loves how I train and knows i usually tend to do what my body needs at that time

Chris is so ridiculously instinctive it’s very rare that you know what he’s thinking and why 😂

You mentioned before that you feel better with higher fats, why have you changed to the current lower fat and higher carbs approach? thanks for the answer and i am a big fan of you

Thank you Paul : ) so with me and diets – feeling good and looking good can mean different way of eating – carbs give me a fuller / rounder look and fuel better workouts, but they make really hunger most of the day… fats satiate and level out my appetite so not as hungry, but they don’t give me that full look and don’t fuel workouts, my body runs better on carbs when it comes to training and bodybuilding full round look… right now we aren’t pushing calories very high so this means we keep fats low so i can have higher carbs for the bigger list of benefits it gives as aposed to just how it makes me feel. Fats go higher in the off season

hi sas, do you think insulin also has its use for somebody who gets fat easily and wants to build muscles? I heard for leaner body type insulin is more beneficial

I think can be used more effectively when lean. But I also think it’s used far too much in cases it’s not needed yet. It’s usefully when food / carb intake is very high for those really pushing size. Guys who aren’t that big and are eating moderate amounts of food I don’t think have a place used that tool yet. Blood sugar and nutrient delivery should first be controlled by a healthy lifestyle / great food choices and low – moderate body fat levels.

They would be crazy not to invite one of the very best the uk has ever produced 😉

Thank you Rob thats very kind!. On the rules it says applicant must have won an IFBB pro show in 2022-2023 which I haven’t. I’ve emailed them anyway so we’ll have to see.

248 again today after another higher carb day

Chris is happy again. Said I look fuller and harder today, so staying on with the higher carb menu till Friday for now

This menu is posted above somewhere . Not changed yet

Legs today. I went in hard. Nothing crazy load wise, but the intensity and pace was super high. Love it. I feel great

On leg press I used a very narrow and low foot position so knees go over my feet, really deep so quads were fried with moderate weight

Then on pinned stack press machine I went high and wide to hit more hams and glutes

Also started with extensions for a change. Just to mix it up

Legs
Leg extensions 5 x 10-20
Leg press narrow low 4 x 10-12
Leg press machine wide 4 x 12-15
Laying leg curls 3 x 8-10
Seated leg curls 3 x 6-10
Db stiff leg deads 3 x 10-12
Adductors 2 x 10-15

So 248 again after yesterdays higher carb day

Checked in today and Chris has told me check in again tomorrow and continue with the higher carb menu till he says.

Feel like my body is using the extra carbs perfectly well.

Chest session was very good. Felt full but not bursting full, strong too

Doing more incline movements to see

I know it’s only week 2 of this prep, and I’ve likely got 20 more weeks of it, but I’m really happy so far : )

Chest

Incline hammer strength 4 x 6-10

Smith incline 3 x 8-12

Panatta dip machine 3 x 12-15

Decline machine 3 x 12-15

Cable fly 3 x 10-15

When are you going to compete coach

Very interesting following Chris and you
Hey klaus : ) I want to maybe do the Arnold’s uk in March 2024, but not sure I’ll get an invite cos I’ve been off stage. So definitely a show around that time. One of the European maybe. I need to see what the 2024 Calendar looks like when it’s out

I’ve always start with 20mcg. Then every week or every other week add 20mcg. But only add if needed. So taper up slowly.

Thanks for the answer! Will doing breaks, like 2 days on 2 days off more beneficial than using non stop? What is your go to method?
Non stop has always work fine but tapering up weekly / biweekly is needed for sure. There’s studies showing a steady daily dose is more beneficial (I think if I remember correctly lol)
