    Chest triceps side delts today with quite well. Fuller from the 2 higher days but I wouldn’t say bursting full.

    I doubt I’ll be bursting full till show day. Maybe even not then haha. My Josh always tends to look better when it’s a touch flat. Full enough to look round etc but not full where I feel pumped all day, that’s where my details and separation starts to blur

    Genated if I was a mass guy like James H, Samson etc then fuller would maybe be better , but at my size and structure and my strengths being detail and proportions it’s always better a touch flat

    If that makes sense

    Back to regular carbs today.

    Feel hungry lol

    Fruits and berries cover the bodies nutrient needs better then rice etc. so healthier. Healthier body = better response to muscle repair / organ health / immune system and so on. So unless a bodybuilder is close to contest, I don’t think it’s very smart to exclude fruits etc

    High day no 2 today go no down nicely

    Trained legs and it feels really good.

    Knees are still shit, but the lower load / slower reps are helping me keep intensity really high which is plenty for now

    Still low volume. But it’s allowing me to hit them twice so I’ll hit them again in 3 days

    Sent Chris a check in and he’s happy.

    Checking in again tomorrow.

    Tomorrow back to regular carbs

    Legs and abs
    Standing curls 2 x 10-15
    Laying curls 2 x 6-12 drops x 2
    Hip press 4 x 8-12

    All good here Joe thank you! Yeah I’ve applied to do tue Arnold Classic UK in 12.5 weeks. Waiting on the promotor to see if I have an invite. If not I’ll do a European show soon as I can after that. Waiting on calendar for 2024

    I would use low dose aromasin for sure. If 300 mg is an effective cycle for you for now, I wouldn’t add more anabolics just to lower estrogen. If wanting to add more anabolics then maybe

    Yea I like arimidex too. That’s all I use. It’s stronger then Aromasin but also a little harder on lipids so if you can get away with using Aromasin first then that’s a better route

    Back today felt SO GOOD. Best session I’ve had in weeks. Not sure if it’s the high carbs / higher test with deca kicking in / of if it’s the different style of training I’ve been doing but I just felt so connected with each and every rep took me straight back to that perfect place during training that made me love bodybuilding

    I did back, biceps and a little rear delts

    Higher food is going in perfectly.

    Pump was insane throughout even though I had longer rest periods between sets.

    I’m using much slower reps right now to aid joint recovery, so the loads I am lifting are lighter across the board, but the intensity and muscle stimulus is way higher.

    Win win in my eye for where I’m at right now

    Back rear delts biceps calves
    Standing calf raises 4 x 6-12
    Straight arm pull overs 3 x 6-10
    Chest supported hammer strength row 3 x 8-12
    Deadlifts 2 x 6-12
    Db row 2 x 8-12
    Db bent over on bench rear laterals 3 x 6-10
    Cable ez bar curls 2 x 8-12
    Cable iso curls 2 x 6-10

    2 high carb days incoming for today and tomorrow. Chris’s orders.

    Same menu but the first dose of insulin is upped to 13 iu. Otherwise same high menu as recently posted

    Dropped to a new low weight of 241.8 yesterday

    So Sunday yesterday was rest day. Much needed

    Today is back

    I don’t like metformin, never use it

    I don’t take my bg unless I feel something isn’t right/ body isn’t responding correctly. And when I have taken its usually 90 ish / under [/quote]

    So I guess a better answer to you initially would have been “I don’t need metformin” instead of saying I don’t like. But I do think it’s overused like a lot of drugs

    I don’t see why I’d need it. If I need something like metformin, telmisartan etc I would take them and would urge anyone else who might need them to do so too. but I think it’s become a big trend to add medication to the stack because someone said it helps x y z. I’d rather analyse what my own body needs or doesn’t need and if there’s an issue I set out to fix it with my own research : )

    4 gh and 300 carbs won’t cause issues unless you’re either holding too much body fat or there’s an underlying health issue / lifestyle etc

    take bg fasted before food and gh. See what it is then

    Yeah it’ll pull more blood sugar to be used. So lowers bg. For me, there’s no place for it unless someone has an unhealthy inefficient blood glucose control, or they’re already pretty huge and taking things to an extreme level.
    In which case, insulin allows you to take in higher amounts of carbs and shuttle them better into the muscle / where you want them instead of storing / gaining excess too much fat.

    Back biceps and forearms today. Again, I’m decided the muscle group for that day as I go. I’m going off recovery / soreness / joints etc.

    And it was a very good session. Feeling stronger and more confident with every session this week. Joint pain a little lower again, strength and pump up. Win win

    Food back to regular menu today. Which has me at around 360g carbs.

    High day yesterday was around 550. So nothing crazy but enough to bump me back up.

    Zero fatigue during the days. And a healthy appetite.

    Could ask for a better prep so far

    Back biceps forearms calves

    Seated toe press 2 x 40-50

    Cable pull overs 3 x 6-12

    Panatta t bar row 3 x 8-12

    CYBEX single low row 3 x 10-15

    Face pulls for mid / upper back 2 x 12-15

    Db leaning curls 3 x 6-10

    Hammer strength preacher 3 x 6-10

    Cable wrist curls 3 x 10-20

    The panatta t bar I use is the chest supported one bud. And I don’t use the t bar drip it’s just what people call that machine. For t bar I try use the conventional bar bell style I prefer that.
