Afternoon team – I hope everyone has had a good day. It’s been one of those days where my heads been a little off, I had therapy today which can always be tough, but its another element of personal growth that I’ve got to go through if I want to be the best version of myself. Normally after therapy I tend to give myself the afternoon/evening away from work to chill. Tomorrow is a rest day which I am dreading tbh just with how I’ve been feeling today (the gym is very much my emotional outlet, much like it is for alot of us!) but rest days are needed so we must take them – then its a big push session on Saturday. One day at a time .

Rest day today! Very chilled day , all check ins done nice and early before heading to the warehouse for work! Had a lovely evening taking the pooch for a walk , such a lovely way to wind down so it’s been a good day . Pull tomorrow morning which I’m very excited for already 🙂 onwards we go!

Hi Ilias – I’ve personally found the combination of regular abdominal training (and doing this properly not just flinging weight around) and vacuums to really help with midsection control in posing. Furthermore actually practicing your posing ALL YEAR around , not just in prep, can help massively. Holding posing to start with at 15 seconds and increasing when you’re ready to progress , will help you develop your ability to hold your midsection in tight when you pose. The more you do it the better you’ll get. I hope this helps!

Good evening team! A longgg day today but good day! Legs was steady this morning, knees a little sore on the pendulum but an extra warm up set seemed to help a little here – still not 100% but workable! Warehouse in the afternoon the a couple of consults this evening – busy but good day! rest day tomorrow so pretty chill day!

A great start to the week team! A really good upper session to start the week – progression on the majority of things this morning, laterals being a little stubborn but they’ll move soon enough 😛 aha . A good day in the warehouse and some really solid client check ins , so cannot complain! Legs in the morning, then another day doing the do!

Hi Jack
Personally I use both as I like to know I’m covering all areas!! However, If buying both is something you cannot do, then I would grab the join in and stack with cure – coming . Join in does still have 40mg of collagen in the panel so you do still get benefits of collagen, its just not the same dosage or spectrum of collagen types when compared to the collagen product alone. Saying this, both products are brilliant and can be a massive aid when keeping joint health in check, but always remember they will not fix the issue, so if this is an ongoing injury that needs further rehab I would advise you seek further examination and use either product alongside this 🙂

Rest day today! Client got 1st place in her show which I’m absolutely buzzed about! She will now go into an offseason where we focus on adding a little more tissue to her frame! Tomorrow back to work and have upper in the morning – it’s going to be a good day!

Hi Nick – IMO it’s whatever sits best for you post workout. We may use a protein shake as its quick and easy to get in, but personally I haven’t used a shake post workout in years, I only use whey powder in oats or cream of rice at another point in the day, I currently use egg whites post workout for my protein source. So what you find sits the best use that! 🙂

Saturday done and dusted! An incredible posterior session this morning , touched 8 plates a side on the squat press today which was MEGA, so very happy there! Came home to a consult , a couple of check ins and then just a day of setting up a little more of my coaching rebrand – which is coming soon! I have a client competing tomorrow and she looks absolutely brilliant – this is her best look we’ve ever achieved so I’m beyond happy with her and how she’s approached this season. Tomorrow is a rest day – so just going to catch up on life and do a little more admin!

Things happen and sometimes life throws curve balls at us from time to time. But as Meg said we all feel that general meh feeling when we have to rest/deload but if there is a way around not missing a session we try and do just that . But don’t allow that anxiety to consume you, like I said things happen that are out of our control which can lead to a session being missed. Just pick yourself up and go into the next session as normal.

I’ve always used a Fitbit and I’ve never had issues – reasonably cheap too so if you need to save some pennies and can’t afford a super expensive fancy one – then a Fitbit will tick the boxes 🙂
