Rest day done and dusted , long day on the road but worth it as sleep token were amazing! If you haven’t seen them then I would highly recommend going to see them, because they were amazing! Back to training tomorrow which I’m buzzing for! 🙂

Evening team! I hope everyone has had a good day! Posterior session was brilliant today ! Travelled up to Glasgow this evening to see sleep token which I’m very excited to see! Rest day tomorrow then back to the gym on Wednesday!

I only use a lifting belt when truly necessary (heavy rows etc) but when it comes to knee sleeves and elbows sleeves I personally don’t tend to use them, I used too when coming back from injury for psychological reasons (helped with confidence) but since then I haven’t felt the need too. If I were to use again, it would only be to keep joints nice and warm between sets. I believe people rely too much on external things (all the gear, and most of the time no idea) instead of actually focusing on getting the movement bang on and taking their time.

Anddddd another day has passed, another session done and dusted! Push on a Sunday today and then an early morning posterior session tomorrow morning before heading to Scotland to see sleep token (I’ve just shifted my rest day to be on a Tuesday instead of Wednesday) numbers are still moving and things are feeling good! Honestly, nothing very exciting going on at the moment apart from just turning up each day and doing the same shit! I love it though!

I’ve used it from time to time but didn’t find it made much /if any difference to my condition on stage . Every individual is different but for me , it’s not something I use

Early leg session at the shed today , was a very steady session, good pump, good activation , good allll round! Off to London this afternoon to see family so rest day tomorrow for me, then back in the gym Sunday! No rest for the wicked 😈

I always have 60g of carbs from performance fuel pre workout and that seems to hit the spot very well. As Jordan mentioned it’s down to what works for you! Some people can take 100g some people can have more , but find what worls for you and stick to it. On some days I even train fasted, I used to do this even more (pretty much everyday) when I was younger and the majority of the time I feel better then I do with loads of food in my stomach – so whether you have minimal carbs or loads it’s down to finding what works for you.

Agree with Nath on this one. Don’t overthink it , cook your beef the same each time and you’re good to go

Pull today! Which went well! I had a play around on the Gymleco t bar which felt awesome so I’ll most likely keep this in for now and replace the prime mid back row!
Big legs session in the morning and then I’m off to London for a night due to family things! Have a great Friday everyone! X

Rest day today as we picked up the keys to our new home today! Super exciting but also super crazy that its happening! Entering the next stage of adulthood! Posterior in the morning and a massage after should see me into a good Tuesday of client check ins! Another day done!

Following on from Peter here – Try not to overcomplicate things, find that split that works for you, find basic movements that work for you and get good at them. You won’t be able to see any progress if you’re chopping and changing splits all the time, because as Peter mentioned , which I fully agree with, a split should be run for 16-20 weeks to really reap the benefits.

Good evening team!
I hope you’ve all had an awesome day! Busy but good one for me! Me and my partner are just getting ready to pick up the keys on a house we’ve just brought (which is crazy seeing as I never thought I would ever be a fully fledged adult but here we are! aha! ). We are picking the keys up tomorrow, so moved my push day to today and will have my rest day tomorrow so we can both focus on everything needing to be done on the house.
I general today was a good session, however I’ve been having issues with pressure headaches recently so need to have a look into this. Blood pressure checks will be a little more often to see if thats got anything to do with it, have a real lockdown on hydration aswell as I think that might be having something to do with it aswell. Other than that it was a good solid session! So cannot complain!

I would do as instructed by Jay tbh, add in a couple of sets here and there across the week . But equally piggy backing off of what Oscar was saying, ensure your approach to these sets is bang on and you’re getting the most out of everything you’re doing when bringing up a lagging body part.
