I also think it is very valuable that somebody with the influence you have is willing to do so as it will help a lot of people. Bodybuilders often (not always) have some underlying issues and I certainly did as well. It wasn’t until I learned to identify, open up, talk about my issues and learn to love both myself and others properly that I made progress with it. Sorry for crashing your thread with this.

If you blast and cruise then simply drop to a cruise dose until healed and then restart cycle (if health markers allow). If you pct then you’ll have to consider hpta recovery time and whether it’s worth coming off now, only to potentially come back on as soon as hpta function is restored in near future.

I too developed brain fog when I started using ashwaghanda. Have been using it for 5 days now and symptoms are improving, not sure if the supplement was actually the cause or it was coincidental.

Couple of things you could consider here.
1) You could drop to rest day diet or even go below that and look to “tidy up” a little bit.
2) Run diet as it is with some days using rest day diet and others using training day diet to help push muscle gains.
What is your current condition like, have you got a lot of room to put on more body fat? How far over stage weight are you? How long do you have until you begin prep? How is your appetite, do you feel that you can continue to push food up quite a lot further?
One thing I’ve found for me personally and I know it’s NOT the case with a lot of others, is that I actually need a break from pushing the calories so high in order to recover. I’m not sure if it’s a case of reducing inflammation but I find that I am often constantly fatigued when calories are high and pulling them back is almost like hitting the “reset” switch for me.

I’ve read the book and think it is the best thing I’ve ever read with regards to bodybuilding.

Feel like this is a silly question but I’ve never fully grasped it regarding clen. Are the majority of fat loss benefits supposed to come from the increased bmr from using clen or from its agonistic effects on the beta cells? I only ask because clen seems to be a very effective fat loss agent but a lot of people say its effects are negligible due to it only slightly increasig bmr (about 5%). But in practice I think we’ve all recognised that it is a very effective fat loss “supplement”.

Haven’t ran that combo but I could see it working nicely if you’re not already a monster or have used much higher dosages. But if training, rest and nutrition are in place then I think you’d be pleasantly surprised by the results

I’ve found that I enjoy it more when I don’t obsess over it so much.
I go to the gym and try and progress on my lifts and that for me is very satisfying and motivates me to continue training.
For my diet I just ensure I have a good amount of protein with each meals, some veggies in half my meals and either fat or carbs but rarely mix either. I don’t track numbers and just try to eat more or less depending on whether I want to gain or lose weight.
If I get invited to a social event and somebody offers me a beer, I’ll drink it and not stress about it. If I’m at my fiance’s parents house and they offer me a slice of cheesecake, I’ll enjoy it rather than start panicking that I hadn’t hammered an intense and high volume leg session before hand to reap any kind of benefit from it. Obviously I do have to be more disciplined if I’ve got a time restricted goal in mind.
Basically just remember you do this because you enjoy it, and try and make it as enjoyable as possible. If you’re getting on stage and competing and you need to be more serious with your approach, then you need to ensure that the negatives that come with it don’t outweigh the positives.

I really like Mark Bell’s stuff from improveyourbench

Yeah it’s completely different 🙂

Fortitude training might be a good choice. Volume is very low but frequency is 3/4 times a week per body part. So you’d be stimulating the muscle more frequently and not pummelling it. Should lend to some decent gains :)!

It depends on the dosage of the vitamin C. The serving in aminotaur is 120mg which isn’t all that high. On paper it may seem bad for muscle growth, but if you’re training hard and eating to build muscle then I highly doubt it will make any difference.
