I know he had a history of problems but surely the way things are now, hasn’t helped him in anyway.

News today from his close friend Ben Chow is that Luke took his own life.

I truly feel saddened and sick.

My love and prayers are for his family and young children.

I think we’ll see a gradual opening of schools, some shops firstly by beginning of June. The pubs, gyms and large sporting events will be the last to open up and this could be some time later

These type of set ups make my elbow tendons worst though .. any ideas how to work around it ?

It’s interesting you bring this up as I pretty much have the same set up as you know. A barbell with decent weight and dumbells. But my tendons have given me a lot of problems since training from home like this. I’d be interested in thoughts as to why this may be? I didn’t have issues before.

Pumping iron is a fantastic gym. Near Arnos Grove station, so not too far from bush hill park.

I believe Dr Mike has put a chart together
Of course, there is the normal caveat of “it depends”

I wouldn’t read too much into what Mike Israetel says. Yes he is a smart man but he does come out with some baloney at the best of time’s.

I’d say you would need even more for recovery when on AAs. If your eating well and training hard you’ll need the extra rest for optimal recovery and performance in the gym. The amount of sleep you need varies from person to person.

    Sleep is golden.

Its great for alertness and mental clarity at the beginning but you do build a tolerance to it with continued use.

The problem is once you stop, the brain fog starts and feeling fatigued.

When you do “extreme stretching” maybe you overdo it.
I prefer just some light stretches and get better over time.
I do my mobility and stretch work before every workout and this doesn’t bother my workout. It even gets me better into every session.

I generally hold the loaded stretch for 1 min . Been reading the advice of Dr Scott and Dante on the benefits of doing this.

I do this after the last exercise and set of the working muscle

What do you mean by extreme stretching? Give examples please… Are you talking about loaded stretches?

    Hi James,

I’ve followed this log closely although rarely comment on here but recently seeing what you’ve gone through hits very close to home with me. Very similar to how I lost my mother 5 yrs ago and still so painful emotionally for me. I’m not ashamed to say it but I welled up reading your log throughout that time.Stay strong and do your mum proud pal.

I’m very pleased to see you have gone for Chris Aceto. Now shits going to get real.

Is he in charge of the diet and PED’s? What’s he advised you?

I believe JH use to do one and that was soooo anabolic. My lifts went up by 50% by the end of the book.

Utterly insane. Don’t listen to the guys saying a note book will do! It won’t.

Haha! ..Maybe a JP branded notebook needs to be released!?

That would fly off the shelves.

JP fans would only need to sniff those pages just to gain tissue.
