It’s the advanced DC split so effectively training every body part twice a week with low volume. DT has posted it up a few times. I’ve asked him the question and he’s suggested it. I’ll give it a crack and see how we go.

after much thought I’m going to give the advanced DC split a go and see how it goes.
Absolutely wasted at the moment, waking up feeling groggy, lethargic and tired.
Recovery is key for training progress and family life.

I need to stop thinking I’m a young buck and 10-20 years younger

Back to abbreviated full body workouts I think @thp

At age 40 I’m starting to struggle with ppl and 4 days a week training .

Unsure wether to keep frequency high and go 3 days full body or upper/lower

I never used to have this problem 10 years ago ???? [/quote]

This is the conundrum I’m faced with.

4 days per week maybe with less volume than my current P/P/L programme.

    I’ve considered DC. Decisions

@thp I can only train three days a week so not easy and I am 42 now!!

    I’m not far off buddy

The body isn’t as forgiving when you get to our ripe old age. Have to be smarter. Still learning

@thp what routine would u recommend ? I agree I have tried training the way the systems jp recommends. On here how do u train and does it work for you? I have also trained dc style but doesn’t work for me? Perhaps it works for easy gainers and people on gear I am natural

For me Higher frequency training has been the the most beneficial for
Adding mass. FB not far off. The problem for me now is recovery with P/P/L as age is creeping up with me and brutal sessions taking there toll. This is something I’m going to have to look at now.
Even a 2 on 1 off style is knocking the stuffing out of me.

I would look T the DC trains but I can’t see how the very limited volume will be beneficial for my legs especially

Just look at his transformations, even not directly under his wing but those hat followed his teachings.

As far as I know Dusty Hanshaw and Dave Henry to some extent.
There are a number of bodybuilders who are big guys at the top of the game who don’t follow DC training.
I’m just playing devils advocact here but why aren’t top BB’d using this regime if it’s so effective?
Are you really going to grow with a 2-3 set leg session? No matter how hard you train.

Be interested to see this but nothing concrete on the site as yet I believe. Only snippets here and there.
I think it’s still in the early stages at the moment, which requires a bit of tinkering but once it’s mastered, JP will put it out there.
He’s a perfectionist and will only put things out until he’s fully happy ????

EQ is up there with the most lethargy and anxiety for me.

Doesn’t give enough bang for my buck yet gives all the sides.

It’s a favourite with guys on here but not for me

No pictures of it. He is only JUST NOW posting pics and info on IG.
He’s a very private person and doesn’t like being in the lime light at all.
Then again, I also don’t care what he looks like. There are plenty of great coaches/educators who look blah now. But maybe back in the day he was legit.

There is no doubt he is a great educator and a fountain of knowledge. I was just curious as to if anyone has seen pictures of his physique.
I am in no way to discrediting what Dante has done and is still doing today. Educating the BB world his training methods and supplementation for health
I’ve scaled back and still found no pictures.

I on the other hand do care what someone looks like.

Especially coaches. You must practise what you preach

That looks like 5 days consecutive training, if you are training with any sort of intensity will be difficult to recover from.

I’d look at a different set up than the one you currently have at the moment.

    Good push session today

Not quite recovered so we will drop sessions down to 2 on 1 off and rest on either side of density last week has mashed me up and today I paid for it performance wise so I have to listen to my body and listen to Jordan and go back to 2 on 1 off so I can absolutely destroy the sessions

    Hi Kuba,

This is what I thought might happen when I looked at it. Especially 3 on 1 off with this type of training.

It may well be tough to recover with two on with this type of training. It will be interesting to see.

Actually spoke to Jordan about this, last week has completely trashed me.

I just got excited to hit the new set up but it’s all good no more being impatient we will stick to the guns ans run it like this

    Legs

    Pull
    Rest

    Push delt dom

    Density
    Rest

    Push

    Legs
    Rest

    Pull

    Delt dom
    Rest

    Density
    Rest
    Repeat

When you say density, I presume this is legs. How does this differ from your other leg workout?

How can you grow with that little amount of carbs?

I see fats are high but still can’t see without s decent amount of carbs how you can progress with this

My experience of MK677 has only been with Muscle rage.

I started with 20mg evening doses at first but found that to be too much. Extreme tiredness during the day was the main problem. Bloated like a water buffalo it was so uncomfortable and my diet was clean and moderate carbs.

The hunger was also incredible, to the point of discipline going out the window with it, which is really not like me. I was raiding the food cupboard Like a crackhead looking for his next fix.

I lowered the dose to 10mg per day but again the tiredness was debilitating. Muscles were full, hard and very vascular. Strength was up but i just couldn’t cope with the tiredness and bloating so threw the towel in
