As another fellow 6’5er, I’ve never got on brilliantly with pure squats.

Leg press / hack and front squats have been staples but also progression here has now helped mobility on actual squats too.

Also try taking shoes off OR adding plates under balls of feet to adjust for ankle mobility. I’m having great pleasure from going shoeless recently

Class to see 7 weeks on – particularly as a fellow 6’5er myself. Solid rebound buddy!

Thanks guys. @jellevdd just curious – how’s your condition holding at 13lbs up? Assuming lots of that water and glycogen, but you still visibly looking good / abs etc?

Thanks guys – and you reckon it’s safe to move to cruise straight away, look to hold condition whilst introducing more cals slowly – rather than keeping in blast and being more aggressive with food and cals?

Pretty much exactly same as @rotties. Tren over 100mg and I’m literally chucking up stomach acid in the night. Tried anti histamines, ranitidine even got a prescription for omeprazole last cycle and that did nothing this time round

Again by no means total isolation but I get a great mind muscle connection with outter sweep by:

    – Feet pointing outwards on leg extension
    – Foot placement (and weirdly taking shoes off) on leg press

Happens to me a lot, actually just had a delt one go down.

    Give 5 days in total:

Day 1 – hot and painful
Day 2 – same but with lump
Day 3 – lump no pain
Day 4 – lump feels like jelly in it
Day 5 – goes right down

Do be careful if heat and pain don’t go – could be that you need anti biotics.

Icing the lump helps when it’s at its most painful

Thanks lads – definitely going to add primo in. Heard you have to run it high, what kinda doses you having success at?

Mate if your going to Ibiza you’ll need to multiply by those doses by at least 7. Look to add a couple gs tren, sink your teeth into some gh / slin and then you want some ‘fat burnaz’ too – DNP base and stack it all on up to week 15. Pct immediately for 1 week before you go and you should be sweet.

But seriously – this is a bodybuilding forum champ how can you expect anyone to opine on that post seriously? It’s not the Ibiza end goal, don’t care about that been there myself, but just look at the post – the timings of the cycle + PCT etc. What are we meant to comment on too, you’ve given 0 stats?

I’d imagine on some probably fairly accurate assumptions on training (and more importantly AAS) experience, you’d be better off smashing a tight diet and training hard than throwing in gear.

Least that way you can smash a truck load of Gary’s in Ushuaia and not worry about your kidneys and liver giving up on you ;).

    Fuck I’m jealous

Hi Dean, recently ran in to this (see post in Health – “feeling terrible on rest days”.

Long story short, felt tired all the time and even worse on rest days, actually picked up a few soft tissue niggles too for the first time in my life. Never deloaded in my life purposefully, let alone to autoregulate.

Took 3 days off and rest of week as a moderate volume low intensity deload.

Feel instantly better for it, sleep up, energy levels up (all on a cal deficit).

My advice – first few days to take off are the hardest, but once you do it completely changes your persepctive on recovery. Its stupid how on top I am with the science behind everything, personal diet and training and I still couldn’t face the time off / deload until I was really beaten up.

As the wise Scott Stevenson says, we humans are masters of rationalisation so we don’t have to face realities we don’t want to believe are true.

    Hey Guys,

Because this had such good engagement first time out thought I’d give an update.

First time I’ve ever deloaded (I know right?!). Day 3 no gym and I feel great today. Admittedly I didn’t feel great two previous, but as completely no gym and deep into a prep style cut I went low carb.

Rest of the week, I’ve planned to continue a deload. One PPL cycle for remaining days to Sunday and taking the volume over intensity approach i.e. keep some volume in but not train to failure. Rationale – after picking up some niggles I want to give my connective tissue a bit more of a break and also being in a cut could do with the metabolic work and more of a CNS break before I go in again on intensity starting Monday.

It really is weird not going to the gym. For those that struggle, first day is the hardest ;).

Thanks Clare – think you are right, just picked up a second soft tissue niggle in the gym this morning probably a good indication a serious deload needed.

Embarrassingly I don’t think I’ve ever deloaded intentionally for as long as I can remember. So hard to break that mental attachment

At the moment I’m holding strength well on a cut but I can and do increase strength yep. This is generally a year round thing too (can’t even put it down to being hypo caloric!)

Will certainly try more rest days, I just fear them given the terrible feeling all day!

That’s what I’m thinking, but just can’t understand then why I feel great on training days (even by 3rd or 4th in a row)

Yes heavily assisted and tried using non rest day diet / supps and doesn’t make a difference.

Like a total brain fog I can’t shake!

Sleep consistent across all days as in no better or worse on these rest days – better if anything as slept longer from no AM gym!
