When you say you didn’t see results trying different splits, how long did you stay consistent with one split to actually progress it and let it work?

Just be consistent with whatever way you do it. You can measure the full days worth dry, cook it, then portion out to meals for that day.
Or if you want to cook a bunch in bulk and weigh out cooked just make sure you are consistent with your dry to water ratio every time

The bottom line here is you’re young. This week sucked, in your life you’re going to have a lot more times that suck. Just learn to roll with the punches and have non negotiables with yourself that no matter what life throws at you, you will not fold on. Also be willing to accept that things can’t always be perfect, and you just learn to adapt and work around it without beating yourself up

Is your nutrition etc outside of training consistent?

“It’s ok” if you recover from it and it doesn’t negatively impact your progression in other sessions

Just give yourself 3 days of feeling normal man. For both yourself and those exposed to you

If you start to notice regression in training performance, if progress stalls and going deeper into a deficit isn’t working, if you notice yourself truly regressing in both muscle and training, if you have a huge drop in weight and feel it impact you physically, are all good reasons to possibly need a refeed.
Don’t look for a reason to refeed, let your body dictate when it’s needed

We can’t really give a blanket statement without knowing what you look like physique wise and other aspects of your plan.
I’d cut 500 cals off your maintenance and see how long you lose off that and adjust down by 250 increments from there

It could be anything you said. How long has this been something you notice? Did you change anything supplement wise?

Are you having intra workout nutrition?
That’s what I would do if not. Keep meals as is and add EAA’s and carbs to training. Like sustain and MPS max from TBJP

It’s always been worth it for me. It doesn’t have to be for every training session, but for higher expenditure and weaker in development body parts it can be beneficial. For example I always kept it in on my leg days all the way through prep

There’s no “best”. It’s a matter of what you need to keep yourself in a deficit that doesn’t impact your recovery and training. If you need higher impact, more calories burned, something to regulate speed for you then yes stair master can be good, but it can also be very harsh on people who lose leg size easy.
For me I never did/do stair master for that exact reason and found the recumbent bike to be best for my goals
