Woke up this morning & felt a bit meh 🫤 so called today’s session off & an extra rest day it is . Spent the day overdosing on sambucol/echinacea/vit D3/ glutathione . These combo paired with a good rest often works very well for me . But it only works if implemented as soon as you feel the mildest symptoms.
So another early night and a rest day tomorrow should see me good for Quads on Monday. I shall keep you updated . 🙂

I would put an SLDL on pull day . And programs it as my first compound either after a lat movement or do a lat movement after it .
The RDL won’t have a home as you only have one sleep after SLDL which is not enough time to recover from.So I’d run one at a time . Probably an SLDL to start & milk that for all it’s got .

REST DAY
Today was a good day . I worked half day then on my way home the plan was to nap . But I came across one of my close mates girlfriend who told me he was struggling a bit so a took a detour to go see him and spend some time . We ended up going for a walk and talking . In the end he felt better about things , I felt better that he felt better & I did not have my nap but that did not matter in the grand scheme of things .

What doesn’t feel great about it bud exactly ? For most people i would honestly just load mid peg and focus on set up and execution then on this piece I like 30% mid peg 70% top peg mainly.
Depends where you also place it in your workout.
I have it second in my upper back day after the life fitness seated row, I feel when I load the top peg as I get to the top of the rep I’m going to come out of the seat and feels like my hips are travelling backwards as the top has very little resistance.
I might do as you said and just focus on mid peg as this is what I do on the incline press and have made a lot of progress on it.

Also make sure your seat is set up to suit you. And you can also use either grip , so choose whichever feels right .
The points Megan makes are very important in that focusing on your reference points (the floor & the chest pad) will improve the stability profile of the movement massively and your back will produce as much output as a result.

HAMSTRINGS/PULL
Straight forward session today . Back to bending bars with SLDL to start..5pps felt very heavy. Every rep felt like my last bit managed to bully the set to five reps. 😂 absolutely wrote off.
Rest of the session flowed Brilliant. No qualms at all .. a very very much needed rest day . 🙂

DELTS & ARMS
Very good session this afternoon. Felt very strong all things considered. Took a 4 plate dip for 5 solid reps as a secondary movement after high incline smith so very happy.
Hamstrings and back tomorrow. I can’t wait.

Just curious, if your legs are a strong point & you are smashing them to smithereens once a week, assuming you are seeing progress on growth , who would you increase frequency?
It would make sense to focus on a weaker body part as opposed to increasing frequency on a already strong body part.
