    I’d stick to full body for now & rinse it for all it’s got. if there’s something in the plan you aren’t sure of , or the plan itself, I’d post it on here for help ..

    CHEST AND BACK
    Immense session earlier this afternoon . It’s the first push session I have done in almost 2 weeks .
    I progressed all movements significantly. There’s loads I could not move 2 weeks ago but moved very well today & in fact went heavier.
    For me the biggest drug available is my mental clarity. With that I am not only my best version but can do things that sometimes I can’t fathom .
    I am excited of what lies ahead this year. I have always believed each year to progress you have to do something that you have never done to get something you’ve never had. Well this year I have run the least amount of assistance for the longest amount of time .
    During that time I’ve also pretty much managed to not only hold my performance but progress it.
    I have learnt so much about my abilities and capabilities & that in turn has just increased my confidence going into the next half of the year..
    Feeling grateful 🥹

    Did you devolume or did you have full 4 day rest out of the gym .?
    If you had a full rest out of the gym, then I’d swap the movements & start a fresh with new movements to be honest .

    Rest day today … absolutely battered from yesterday’s session.. lol
    Just walked in from work , time to unpack , eat my meals and an early bed is on the cards ..

    Hello team so travelled pretty much all day yesterday and didn’t get in till late .
    I’d done an online food shop that was delivered this morning at 6:00am which meant I was back on plan this morning from meal 1 .
    I have also jumped back into training where we had a ham/glute session with kuba. Absolutely fantastic session this afternoon and everything felt so good .
    Rest day tomorrow and we resume work on Saturday 🙂

    You could do assisted chin ups either using a machine or a band sticking your feet through .
    If you don’t have access to both I’d do a rack pull as you can regress it & then build it up as you go .

    If you can connect super light , you can also connect whilst slowly progressing load .
    As Clare & Louis mentions above , this is an execution issue.
    So first things first set up is key . Check the seat height and the handles . Make sure the handles aren’t all the way back past your active range forcing you to reach behind to grab them. Set them in line with your shoulder so when sat down they align perfectly . This is a big issue.

    I would also maybe advise pauses in the stretch for just a split second to give you an opportunity to think of what is actually initiating the movement.
    The target muscle or the joint nearest should always move first so in this case your pec should move first .

    DAY 5
    A bit more chilled today .. went out for breakfast as usual , met up with a friend & had a catch up .
    Spent the rest of the day at the apartment till it was time to go out for an meal in the evening.
    Good meal at a Japanese restaurant, but better company more than any thing .

    Day 4

    It’s my birthday & I have had a great day , just a chilled day to be fair . Breakfast at my favourite spot eggspectation by myself, I like to be alone , reflect & just be in the moment.
    Tonight we have been out for dinner & it’s been perfect.

    Well well well, big changes since the last update. I knew this would happen. Based upon past dieting experience from December 2021 I knew that as soon as I drop below 160lbs my body loses weight rapidly. And damm was I right. I was 160lbs on the morning of the Friday just gone, then lost 2.2lbs over night so was 157.8 yesterday (Saturday) morning. Then this morning I’d lost another 2lbs bringing me down to 155.8lbs. Now I’m nowhere near being considered “lean lean” and there is still plenty of fat to come off the lower back and lower abdomen so I’m not sure whether to embrace the rapid weight loss (I doubt I’ve lost 5lbs of fat over 2 days) or implement a high day to slow down the rate of loss. I’ve attached pictures below. I’m now pretty much in the same condition I was in December 2021 at 153lbs.

    Will see what happens tonight in terms of weight loss and will make a call from there regarding food intake for tomorrow.

    Hello Rhys , Damn you’ve made a pout of progress since I was last here . Well done.
    I would say embrace the fat loss as it’s not going to last .. save the high day for when you stall .

    Day 3
    We spent the day in the desert on safari . It’s been the best day so far . The experience was perfect.

    Driving buggy’s , flying eagles 🦅, sand boarding , camel riding and then capped the day off with some food while watching belly dancers and all sorts of entertainment.
    On way back now to the apartment a very tired pup & very very grateful 🥹

    Check in day today and weight was down 0.5kg so Tom ordered another refeed – this week he gave me a large sushi platter and a lovely dessert to enjoy on top of my usual meals😍he also reduced my steps to 12k (were at 16k), but everything else remains the same and will check in again in the morning!

    Hit hams & glutes this AM – a really good session and numbers were up across the board. Harry swapped out my barbell RDL for a DB variation just to get a bit of a deeper stretch, but also because I connect way better with these and don’t feel any issues in my lower back. So did a nice working set of 40kgs today, nothing too crazy but will run with these for a while now!!

    Otherwise, another typical day of work & now chilling while patiently waiting for it to be time for my next meal so I can devour my sushi & cheesecake before hitting the hay for what I expect will be a lovely deep sleep!! Xx

    Lovely to catch up with this again April . On your RDL’s , each time you feel your lower back , that’s a sign that you aren’t bracing appropriately to match the load you are pulling . So make sure you are really bracing hard . Because also with dumbbells as soon as you get to towards the top of the ceiling weight wise , your lower back will start feeling it .
