Superb session this afternoon.a pre workout nap was the difference to be fair . Whether that’s placebo or fact I’m not sure .. lol

Atlantis shoulder press at 270kg for 5 reps . On the lower rep range now . So illl stay there till I can bully another 2 reps , then from here it is a biscuit at a time till we hit 7pps. 🙂

Very busy day today … literally jam packed .

QUADS
BIG BIG session this afternoon, still loading high reps & making some decent progress . Got stuck in the 20’s , then pulled it back to 12’s & finished with 30 reppers ..
immense pump & absolutely done in .
We have eaten , and early bed tonight is in the books as I wasn’t on time last night due to just pottering about and time catching up with me.

I would stick to the current rotation If it works .. do not add another pull from the floor & not when you only have 2 sleeps on between.

Thank you my man .. as Marc advises..just rinse and repeat these movements till you can’t squeeze anything else out of them then swap them .
In terms of skill acquisition you don’t want to much time before movements as they get harder to learn . Most hip hinges & pulls from the floor are a skill which require the right frequency to be able to get the most out of them .

In terms of elbow path if you cut down and out then that’s a flared elbow .
If you actually follow your natural path it’s be slightly tucked.
It’ll be safer and allow you to mimic a more converging motion.
And Meg describes that perfectly above by saying , let the elbows stay in line with the ribcage.
I should however insist you don’t force elbows to go where they don’t want to go . Keep everything natural..

BACK & HAMS
Niggles & injuries meant todays session was tweaked a bit but the framework maintained nevertheless.
Filmed for the site I explained all the rationale so it’ll hopefully make sense and help if you ever in a similar position..
All in all , productive session and we are happy with the quality and amount of work done .
Tomorrow we rest & I have treatment too so happy with that 🙂
