    I would try take the stimulants on an empty stomach, so whether that’s coffee or a pre. Assuming you’d have had your prep workout meal 2 hours prior & it wasn’t a heavy meal , so something like cream of rice or baby rice and whey that digests quickly. I’d then have mr coffee/pre just before I train as the stomach would be empty’ish’ therefore making the caffeine more effective.
    After training as Clare suggested , I’d take something like halcyon to bring you back down

    Leg day yesterday, we filmed for the site with Kuba & Meg.. Kuba was 10 days out as per yesterday .
    A little low on energy but once we got going he perked up and we really did take it there . So look out for the video sometime next week.
    A very much deserved Rest day today as leg day ruined me.

    Kristian I like your idea of a push,pull , upper . That’ll see you hot more body parts frequently.
    On one push session you could make it delt & tri focused , on the other make it chest focused

    Hey oscar, i know you went for a check up a while back, any idea on whether they got to the bottom what was causing the hiccups youve been having?

    Hello max, i did see a gastroenterologist who prescribed omeprazole tablets which I’ll finish in the next 2 days .
    We also did a stool test to see if I had helicobacter pylori which came back positive, so I was prescribed a course of anti biotics for 14 days .
    The doctor made me aware that he won’t be able to eradicate the hiccups completely, but if he reduced them by 50% (intensity or frequency or both) he’d consider that a successful intervention . The frequency has reduced, but the intensity is still the same. So my plan is once I finish the omeprazole, I’ll book in for another consultation as sometimes it’s take two courses of anti biotics to get rid of the bacteria. Or we could have the option of gastrocopy which the doctor was avoiding at all costs .

    Max, it’s horrible, i won’t lie. Mostly when they come on 2-3 bouts .. I tend to not talk about it a lot as it gets me down massively & helps me manage them too. I’m optimistic they will get better as we go on as there’s still avenues that we haven’t explored. Thank you for checking in. It’s really appreciated. X

    REST DAY
    A chilled one, client had a photo shoot so I was there all morning. Otherwise I relaxed after that , napped and now ready for leg day tomorrow.

    I’d prefer the beginning of the leg session. You are fresh & you can put everything into that set.
    At the end of a good leg session you are not only battered but you also got calves that need the same if not more attention. Abd at that point you are running on almost empty …chances are you will do sub standard sets or skip them all together

    REST DAY
    So today has been a good day . I worked for 2 hours this morning. After which I went and had a treatment.
    Mainly for maintenance & starting on top of existing niggles. Also had my legs flushed just to help with recovery.
    This evening I went for a manicure and pedicure which I haven’t had in a while too. Felt good .
    I am now watching a new series on Netflix called babarians.. I love ancient Roman history and the feuds with the babarians …but still I’m
    Aiming for a 9:30 bed time at the latest .
    Push awaits tomorrow ?
