    Haven’t used the new range yet . But the old cybex leg press and Atlantis pivot are at par ..a case of apples and oranges

    PUSH
    First session back hitting full volume in the last 10 days since we shut down shop and run volume at 50% to drop fatigue.

    Mental clarity regained & body feeling fresh, I was raring for it, we took PB’s across the board today. @atlantisstrength incline press here top set where we took 6pps & a biscuit , and a back off of 5pps. Very happy with this set(s) considering it was the second movement after the @primefitnessusa functional stack cable press.

    Now we hustle for another 4 weeks and then devolume again. @trainedbyjp has nailed it with this method of managing fatigue & I am very excited . Doing things this way we can maintain performance & keep progressing.

    SESSION

    PUSH 1
    Prime functional stack cable converging press x 2 8-10,10-12

    Atlantis incline chest press 5-9,10-12

    Smith close grip tricep press 6-9,10-12

    Pec dec 8-12 10-15

    Prime lat raise machine 8-12,6-9,10-15

    Prime Functional Standing cuffed lat raise rest pause 15-10-8

    Prime pec dec for Rear delts 8-12,6-9,10-15

    REST DAY
    I had a good day today … worked a bit , Napped a bit and I feel fresh and ready for my first full volume session tomorrow . That will be a push & I’m looking forward to it . 🙂 It’s the first time I’ve tied a rest with devolume & to be honest it’s worked wonders. Looking forward to the next 4 weeks 🙂

    Yes because the tricep will be working on chest & when you hit the delt compound, the triceps compound but as you get to the last tricep isolation then surely you can stretch it before you Hit delt isolation and then stretch delts

    Once you finish training chest , you’d stretch. Hit triceps then stretch , finish with delts and then stretch them.

    Yes I’d say that , but it’s not set on stone . Sometimes I go for 3 sets on compounds tho hitting 10-12,6-9,15-20 so there isn’t a right and wrong way

    We rested today , all meals in as usual , an hours nap squeezed in too this afternoon .
    Tomorrow is density/legs session. This will be the last de volume session before we hit full volume on Thursday.

    Because you already got a BB row on pull A, I’d stick an RDL on pull B where the single arm DB row is , and maybe move it down after assisted chins & get rid of the pulley row

    Hello William, IMO people are nowadays overthinking everything too much .
    When performing an RDL, it’s simply a case of bending down under load with eccentric loading and getting up and then applying effort consistently & getting stronger over a time. They will tax the whole posterior chain.
    Just that stress of holding the bar in a bent over position will tax your erectors massively.
    IMO very few of us have the luxury of saying I don’t want to target hamstrings I just want lower back. At this stage you take everything you can and build up your whole posterior chain. Only Olympians in my opinion have that luxury . Us mere mortals we don’t have the luxury as our physiques are still very very amateur .
    Focus on effort and performance, a physique will follow
