    DENSITY/LEGS
    Hello good people, I am written off , literally. That as a result of a top top session. PB’s on everything , literally everything.
    I did train with a friend though & it felt good , to have someone else bringing energy into the session. Positive energy.
    I wish we could post videos on here ..I’d post a few clips . Needless to say I left the gym on a high .

    Then next thing is if you subscribe to apple, get rid of that …& subscribe to tidal, not only is it cheaper but the sound is much better as they got HIFI sound systems..training has never been better 🙂

    Reg I love music ….I have had every headphone ? beats have made to date. From the solos to the current bears wireless pro.
    I I have tested them rigorously through prep , that means long cardio sessions sweating and stuff. Whilst having my recent beats on repair I tried the in ear wireless ones that I borrowed from a friend .
    And that changed my mind, that much I invested in the new power beats pro in ear …they are something else … you put them on and the world turns off . I’ll attach a picture on here.

    REST DAY
    Spent full day teaching at the seminar today . My friends had organised a belated birthday meal so I had a great evening.
    Early night as got density/legs tomorrow:)

    You said it yourself really my man , you are still progressing, body composition is improving too. And even though progression is slow, it’s still moving the right direction.
    Progress in training is never linear. But then again sounds like you are in the fun stage. While most would swap their plan or split, all you have to do now is look at all variables and ask yourself whether you are ticking every box, from a nutrition perspective, from a recovery perspective, from a training perspective….are you really applying yourself 100%?
    If the answer is no, tidy up make necessary changes & watch your physique move forward again.

    Hello team, thought I posted on here yesterday but I didn’t. Apologies.
    I did pull yesterday, too top session, I managed to get into the right headspace and absolutely run riot on the gym floor.
    Highlight of the session I managed to BB row 5 plates for the first time . I was very chuffed with myself for that .
    I had a seminar today so managed to squeeze delts/tris first thing . I trained fasted and managed to hold my numbers…so pretty happy with that if I’m honest . We will take a day off tomorrow and then resume with density on Monday 🙂

    I’d add lateral variation on upper 1,
    On lower one will your back be able to handle a DB RDL after a BB back squat? If so then fine… everything else looks kosher

    We all are….? but as Claire states , as soon as you can get in touch with your facility and see what their procedures are…then like you hunt for a bird on tinder, lol …hunt for a training partner..

    Incredible Session earlier , wrote me right off. Not much to report today , it was one of those days where you get your head down and focus on work & that’s what I did.

    PUSH
    Productive session this afternoon. I think I’ve stalled on the incline barbell at 150kg for 4 reps..hit that twice so I’ll probably swap it and go back to machine work . Retire whilst I’m ahead as opposed to forcing issues as that’s where injuries occur.
    Timing is perfect to swap as well as I start dieting. Less risky movements and movements that are very demand external stability massively.

    •smith close grip tricep press x 2
    •pec Dec x 2
    •Seated Machine lat raise x 3
    •cuffed cable lateral x 2

    Hello kekoa, an upper/ lower split would benefit you here . With one upper session leading with a pec compound & following with shoulders & the other leading with pec compound and followed by shoulder compound. And off course isolation moves at the end of each session.
    You would hit back twice by default as you have 2 sessions a week. Upper/lower/rest/upper/lower/rest and so forth .
    You could add an RDL or conventional deadlift on one lower session…

    Oscar – what do you think is the most valuable lesson for a young aspiring bodybuilder? One week in on my second cycle right now… love your log and identify with your mindset/approach to BB a ton.

    Jared thank you , glad you can take away something and identify with my mindset and approach as a bodybuilder.
    The most valuable lesson ?
    I use the analogy of Steve jobs as a person. He did not set off to become a billionaire but what the process would make of him. But because of how he applied himself thoroughly to the process , Money came as a by product.
    The same applies to bodybuilding, if you apply yourself to the process thoroughly & pay attention to what the process makes of you , muscle will follow as a by product. So long as every time you step into the gym floor you improve.
    And to add one more thing, in bodybuilding patience is not a virtue, it is mandatory if you are to succeed .
    Last but not least, always ask yourself what would I do if I was Natural ? And do that ..
