    Hello guys , so day off training today.. energy levels weren’t too bad surprisingly even though I run 0 carbs … and just protein & minimal fats.
    I spent my day in Leeds where Rosie put me through 2 solid hours of posing. That left me absolutely done in.
    But it was very necessary as at this point there’s no time to waste but get that routine nailed.
    Push tomorrow which I’m very much looking forward to 🙂

    DENSITY/LEG DAY
    2.5 weeks on the dot today . Very very productive session and even a cheeky PB on the RDL.
    I have uploaded a few snippets in my instagram young_4040.
    I have also had a treatment straight after and it should set me up well for 2 hours of posing tomorrow .
    Session was as normal today, but changed one movement.
    •RDL 5-9,10-12
    •seated lat pull down using prime D Handles 5-9,10-12
    •extreme row (single arm) RP 10-6-4
    •seated hammer leg press 1×30 reps
    •standing ham curl 5-9,10-12
    •adductor RP 12-8-6
    A very well deserved day off tomorrow that will be spent posing with Rosie for 2 hours as we look to polish the routine .

    Damn Oscar, can’t believe it’s 2 and a half weeks to go! looking on point my man. Always good when cardio is dropped – no excuses for your density/leg day now!

    In terms of your treatments, are there any that you will omit one week out from the show or will there be some that are more frequent maybe?

    DENSITY/LEG DAY smashed today even getting a PB on the top set .
    So yes I’m starting to reap the rewards of cardio being dropped. As it also means I’m also getting an extra hour in bed.
    No my treatments will go all the way to peak week. We work on a lot of things..muscle separation , draining , mobility which will cross over and affect posing, fascial release which will also help in making my muscle not only look symmetrical by releasing knots and all that.

    I have two rotations at the moment. I’ll work on a third and see how that goes. I must say that I have been struggling with dips after the rest pause work on the smith machine. I’ll switch the rest pause set to straight sets (1 x work and 1 x back-off). Then drop the volume to 2 Tri iso movements. re-evaluate after a couple of session and then maybe drop to only 1 iso movement if necessary?

    Exactly the point I made above, the rest pause work on the incline Smith is taking away from the dip.
    The dip is the biggest tricep movement in your plan so prioritise that…it’s a movement that exerts so much force and these movements have to be a priority as they are largely the ones responsible for building muscle. Then you can go back to that incline smith & maybe work on rep range of 1×8-10 1×12-15 because you’ll have already emptied the tank chest wise on the low incline dumbbell press.

    I would also not put rest pause work that early in the set or I’d get dips out of that way first. And after all is said and done with this session you only need one tricep isolation at the end…of go for an all out set of 1×15

    Evening guys, day off training today. Weight at 91.9kg, Energy levels very low.
    No treatment today, had it yesterday. And I am having one tomorrow after my Density session.
    But I did have an Epsom salt bath. I am now ready for bed with DENSITY/LEG DAY waiting tomorrow.
    2.5 weeks to go!!

    @hilly thank you very much. The 8 months I spent with Jordan also helped me massively to make steps forward.

    So 19 days out …with each day passing it gets closer .. weight at 92.5kg .
    Strength was surprisingly good today . I think the dropping out of cardio has meant fatigue in general is dropping too, making the sessions more productive.
    Delts and tris today…pump wasn’t too bad either.

    •assisted paused dips 8-10,10-15

    Hi oscar,

    I have been following you for a few months and great progress man.

    I recently started going to a new gym and they have a lot of prime equipment.

    So for example one the prime pulldown you did today where do you load the plates ?

    Thank you my man..means a lot. Sorry that’s the Atlantis plate loaded pull down I did . It’s a typo , but hypothetically let’s say it was prime I’d load it on the top pin . WHY ? Because at that point of the workout my back is fatigued so I’d have to load it where it’s easy to get the lay fully short.,
    If it was the first movement and my lats are fresh I’d load the middle and top pin so it hits beginning and mid range , it’d also be set up to be challenging to shorten the muscle but then again we would be fresh..:)

    It is important to me..very important. But atmosphere and warmth come before kit. And that’s me talking from training in one of the best gyms in the country.
    Then I go to flex and tone which is rugged but atmosphere is number one.
    Something @kuba1000hotmail-co-uk-cielen has managed to nail at ultra flex and the amount of people who travel is testament. They do it for the kit, but most importantly because the place is bouncing with feel good factor.
    Atmosphere can alter your mood and energy levels…good kit with shot atmosphere and you get a crap
    Workout. Nail both and you get a WOW workout. So that in itself is worth travelling for. Depends on how seriously you take your goals too 😉

    Kevin hits a crucial point above here. Your intra should be done by the first 3 movements then it’s just a case of topping with water. So as to fuel the actual weight session which is the priority really.
    And you then have answered your question, bieng in a deficit your fat loss will carry on regardless:)
