I’ve nothing to add here that the lads above haven’t said, BUT as you have directed us to view your training on your IG, my question to you is this:
Are you doing this for you or for social media?
Your recent Upper post tells your viewers to not do exactly what you’re doing here.
I’m not being a dick, I’m just trying to make you see clearer. So, my advice to you is spend a month in the gym without filming a single set (unless you’re coached and they ask for them, but without posting them) and see if the desire to train hard and progress lifts is there.
You’re absolutely right. You’re not being a dick and I need to be told exactly how it is sometimes. I post for myself really, I feel like I know “what to do” but then I’m easily manipulated and convinced otherwise which is stupid, as JP said maybe a bit of mental health, but fuck that, I’m gonna sort myself out. As you said, I said it on my post, but here a couple of weeks I began to overthink for god knows what stupid reason. I needed to join this forum to be told how it is. Thank you brother, followed on insta.

Pick movements you like , progress them . If they aren’t progressing , do a little less volume. That’s literally all you need. If you can’t take that info and get on with it , it doesn’t matter how many times you come back , your issue isn’t a bodybuilding issue , it’s an entirely diff mental
Issue . We have it a lot here , guys who don’t progress don’t have bodybuilding issues they have mental health issues, which we can’t help with
Coming from the main man himself, I’m gonna give it a go. I agree, I need to get the fuck off insta or just not watch the bullshit. I know my movements, even on the bad periods where they stall for a bit, it’s the long game and sticking to it is what I need to get my head around. Thank you – needed to hear that.
