Rotties has some sound advice there.
If they think you’re boring AF because you’re not drinking then maybe do a dance for them? Lol I’ve had some good nights out without drinking. Nothing wrong with a few now and then if that’s what you want but don’t give it the “it’s inevitable” and “I have to” lines. You can do what you want bud.
Definitely overthinking it. Enjoy yourself.
If you don’t like the after effects etc then don’t drink much lol That’s the reason I don’t go mad and don’t drink very often, I hate drunk people (work the doors and deal with them all the time) and don’t want to be like them, want to be able to remember the night and I’m now at a point where my hangovers last two fucking days haha
Saying that.. I’ve got a blowout organised for the bankholiday weekend haha -
I’m sorry? You have to? It’s inevitable? Are you a grown assed man or not? What do YOU want to do and what are your goals, what are you trying to achieve? If your friends like to go out on the piss but it’s not your thing and you want to take your training seriously, then it’s time to consider new friends perhaps.
I went out yesterday for my friends 30th, first part was a roller disco thing (been years since I’ve done anything like that, good fun! haha) then they all went on to have drinks etc. Tried dragging me along but I just said no, I’m going home. Yeah the birthday girl got a bit pissy but even she understood. It’s not for me and I don’t want to do it, so why would I? I even refused to give them a lift in to town as I knew they’d badger me once we got there to join them “just for one!” Sometimes you’ve just got to stick to your guns mate and deal with the shit from your “friends”!

I never touch my arse with hamstring curls, I find if I do it actually takes tension of my hamstrings.
I focus on making them as short as possible (Cheers to JP for this tip!) and find they burn like fuck very quickly and I get a great connection with them. -

You’re looking at months mate. But get it confirmed first that it is a rotator cuff muscle tear and not ligaments. I ended up having surgery on mine 3 months ago and it took me months to finally go and get it diagnosed properly. Now I’m on a slow assed road to recovery and only the last week or two started loading chest exercises etc Still can’t OH press.
I’d let it rest a couple of weeks then slowly start doing light (and I mean really light!) cable work elbow in at side, 90 degree angle pulling cable in towards you and then the same but away from you. Hope that makes sense?
It’s what I do every single session now, no matter what I’m training, some light stretching and mobility work, then cable work for strengthening, some pump and activation light load high rep work on flat and incline press plus flyes. 3 sets 20 reps usually. Takes a while but afterwards my shoulder feels pretty good, nice and warm and I can get on with what ever other workout I’m doing without worrying about it. I notice a big difference if I don’t do this! -
Great info. Think I’m going to have to pick some up, my sleep is horrendous for a start and I’m pretty stressed at the moment! Cheers for the insight.

James that’s great advise there, think I will start doing this myself before legs or back sessions! My lower back is terrible at the moment!

Don’t know how I missed all these updates!
Oesteo was ok, not convinced it was worth 50 quid but I’m going back to see him this Saturday as some of what he said made sense and I’m prepared to give him a shot for a few sessions. If it’s a waste of money I’ll consider it a lesson learned. LolThanks for reply on peptides and back issues, I’ll not bother with them then for now. I’ll wait until I fuck something else up! haha
Nice one on the compering the PCA show, be good to see some photos from it. Shame your clients didn’t place on the Sunday! Congratulations to Donald for Saturday’s 2nd place though 🙂
