I think we are all on the same page here mate, 4 days is a really good amount of time.

I don’t think many people ever really NEED a 7 day rest. It does happen, but when people are fully buried, that certainly doesn’t sound like anywhere close to where you are.

Really good Delts and triceps session this evening.

Really enjoying working in the low rep ranges, body is responding really well with strength growing quickly session on session.

Resting tomorrow before a heavy back session on Thursday

One meal left tonight and then a much needed sleep

I’m on a rest day today.

I’ve got Delts and tris tomorrow which I’m looking forward to, but it’s going to be another super intense week at work.

I’ve sorted my food prep and supps, just one meal left tonight and then sleep

Very happy with today’s leg session, my knees did indeed play ball, so everything nicely moved up, whilst also allowing full control and execution

A bit of rest now, hellosh week coming up,
So need to hit it running hard

Meal prep all sorted for tomorrow’s rest day, and for Tuesdays Delts and triceps day.

    Hi mate

This one has been covered now, but just to reinforce, it’s so easy to prep food now, there’s no need to compromise on the quality of what you’re eating.

Get well organised and it very quickly becomes habit .

Really good chest and bi session today, pushed everything up nicely

Body letting me work hard which I’m grateful for

Bit wiped from a very tough week, looking forward to a long sleep tonight to try to play catch up

Leg session tomorrow, relying on my knees to play ball 🙌🏻

    Hi mate

What do you mean hip thrusts are unnecessary for whole body sessions?

Rest day from training, but it’s been an absolute test of a week

Very ready for a restful evening and then looking forward to a weekend of training

    Hi mate

What pattern do you intend to run this on? Frequency will help us make a judgement on volume.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the confusion but this push up I’ve added 12 lbs so far I’m aiming for 30, appreciate your post I get what you mean if its not broken don’t fix it kinda of thing I was only wondering if I was missing out on some extra stimulus by not training frequently. I tried uploading the pics but won’t let me possible because I’m on my phone unsure haven’t uploaded any on here before.?

    Thanks again

That makes more sense, I misunderstood where you were in your gaining phase.

You’re doing brilliantly, just absolutely get after this whilst it’s yielding such a good return. As things stall you can look for different solutions, but make the most of this mate

    Hi Anson,

What’s the rationale behind moving away from the suggested templates Jord has put together?

The last thing you need to do is to try to be too clever with a full body split, it’s all about absolutely milking the fundamentals
