I agree with Meg, either split will work well for you.

For me though, as Rhea says, we need to know a bit more.

The biggest thing tht you can take from the early splits, especially the full body, is really dialling in on your sets. Making sure you’re working hard hard, taking the sets to concentric failure – not just stopping when it gets a bit uncomfortable

Are you at that point? Honestly? If you’re not, I’d start with full body and make that your mission.

Today was a rest day, and for the first time in as long as I can remember, I’ve done very little indeed – a full on rest.

Well timed ahead of pull session tomorrow, and a leg session on Wednesday

All meals and supps are sorted for tomorrow, one meal left for tonight, and then it’s an early night to get some good sleep hours in.

Hi mate, what frequency/pattern are you training?

My weekly training schedule looks like this

    UpperA/LowerA/Rest/UpperB/LowerB/Rest/Rest

    [/quote]
I think in that case this looks solid mate.

Now go through the process of running the sessions, setting your numbers, and being sure you’re happy with the movements

Then it’s time to get after it!

Really enjoyable push session in the books.

Everything moving well, strength is creeping up week on week, session on session.

Need to start thinking about the food now, but will likely hold until there’s a stall in performance

Not much on for the rest of the day now other than feeding and a few bits of work

Ace leg session today. Had numbers to beat from last week, and I went straight past them all

The vast majority of sets are high rep to let my knees stay out of it.

Couple of meals still this evening, then an early night to catch up on some sleep

What makes you think you’re only using triceps and shoulders if your chest is “smashed to pieces”?

Rest day today, and a good job.

Today has been tough, I’ve been Very tired after yesterday’s significantly difficult day.

One more meal left tonight and then very very much looking forward to my head hitting the pillow

Yep, I’d put a rest day between sessions mate so you’re training every other day

See how the additional rest supports your recovery

Just back from a day working in London – not my favourite!

Fortunately it’s a rest day tomorrow so the lack of sleep won’t be quite as painful

Just sorting food prep and getting my last meal before it’s time to sleep

    Hi mate

What pattern are you training on at the moment? Upper/lower/rest/repeat?

If so, you could go every other day, or it may be time to shift to push/pull/rest/legs/rest/repeat.

Pull session tonight, which went pretty well, although I can’t get on with the hammer strength iso high pull – it’s causing havoc with my forearm , so I’ll sub that out

I’ve now got two rest days, and tomorrow will be an absolute mess of a day

Food prep is sorted , one meal to go tonight, then sleep

    Hi mate

I agree with Clare, what’s certain is that things can’t stay as they are

Get yourself over to the education section or to Jordan’s YouTube and look at the upper/lower set up advice

See how that goes from a recovery perspective, and how it allows you to progress.

Feel really welcome to bring your sessions back for comment when you’ve had a go at building them mate

Good push session this evening. My shoulders didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d have liked, but it didn’t impact my numbers.

Things are creeping up bit by bit.

Just sorting food prep for tomorrow and tonight’s last meal before bed

    Hi mate

As the guys have said, you’re really manipulating energy balance.

If you find rest day foods that are higher in fat more enjoyable/satiating, I don’t see an issue in skewing your calories more towards these (assuming adequate protein content).

If you’re unsure where to start, take a look at the fort planner to give you a starting point to manipulate from
