Really good leg session today. Very much enjoyed the session,

Managed some walking lunges for the first time in years, but I will switch these for a Bulgarian split squat, purely just to get some more consistency rep to rep

Push session tomorrow, and making my way over to a different gym so will see how that goes

Just finished my last meal. Now time for a good sleep

    Hi mate

What frequency are you intending to train at?

Rest day today after three on the bounce.

It’s been a long week and I’ve just woken myself up on the sofa.

Food shopping and legs tomorrow, apart from tht, just a couple of bits of work and the rest is downtime

Just about to sort my last meal and then I’m getting a long sleep.

    Hi mate

I think you are probably taking the right approach by giving your time to settle and then easing in

Assuming you can stay well hydrated and get some sleep and protein in, I’m not sure you have to be so pulled back on everything

Selecting a full body set up two to three times a week will quite naturally regulate volume for you.

When you’re back, fall into your normal split, and use it as a chance to reset numbers and or movements.

    Hi Martin,

How is this all panning out?

Is there anything you want to run by us?

    Back session just finished

Homeward bound now for food prep and then one more meal later.

Arm session tomorrow before a rest day on Friday.

Legs and push over the weekend, so all set and ready for the next few days.

Still hugely busy with work, but managing it well and using my sessions as a nice catharsis

    Zach,

How have you settled into the split? Any early reflections you want comment on?

Really good push session this evening , very happy with how all my movements went, and with how my shoulders are behaving

Meal prep done, one last meal for tonight and then a pull session tomorrow

    Hi Carlos,

If you’re lower heavy as you suggest, there’s no reason you can’t get stuck into this

Do you want to share some pictures as Clare suggested? We can give our view on whether that is the case

Rested today after yesterday’s leg session.

Food prep is done and one meal
Left for tonight before I sleep

Push session on the cards for tomorrow, bodyweight onto yes to stay stable which is ideal for where I’m at just now

    Yep, agree with the gang.

I don’t get to use it much, but on the occasions I do, Prime really stands out.

Really good session this afternoon, not much on for the rest of the day other than feeding.

Aiming to get a good sleep again tonight ready for work and training tomorrow

Me too, for as long as I can remember I’ve eaten a meal right before bed and never had any issues at all with sleep

What’s the rationale for keeping fats low? Speedy digestion isn’t required.

Rested today, another late one with work so glad of the evening to recover a bit before legs tomorrow

I’ve got one meal left tonight and then it’s sleep, and I am definitely going to sleep very very well!

    Hi Luke,

    I don’t think you’ll get a more comprehensive answer than Jord’s.

Try not to be wedded only to the outcome, but be obsessed with the process.

You then win every single day along the way, and in all honesty, wherever you think your ideal “look” is, it’s going to change mate, so be comfortable with that.
