    Decent back session this evening

It’s been a long week already from a work perspective, I’m looking forward to catching up with myself a bit over the weekend

Just on with food prep and last meal and then I’m sleeping

    Hi mate

It sounds like you’ve made your mind up of what you want to do regardless of advice.

If you know where you want to be, Thts great, because ultimately, that’s the only thing that matters.

    Get after it mate

Rest day today. Just wrapping work up and getting ready to head back for food prep and my last couple of meals

Big pull session tomorrow to look forward to

Bodyweight remains stable, I’ll hold for another couple of weeks and then start to make a push.

The guys have covered it, but I like Kuba’s suggestion of focussing your pressing around machines where possible

You’re removing an unnecessary variable and focussing everything on the aim.

Push day and it was very good!

I was very late in the gym today, huge volumes of work but I always have my sessions as something to look forward to and channel into at the end of the day

Continue to be pleased with how my shoulders are playing along, so I’m happy.

Just on with food prep and last meal before it’s time to sleep

    Hi Zach,

Absolutely brilliant that you’ve found a split that works well with your high demand lifestyle – great stuff.

I’m with Oscar. I think this is really nicely set up.

For me, this is now about the execution of the plan.

Apply yourself fully, and get after it mate.

    Please do keep us posted.

    Today was a rest day.

Just back in and sorted food prep for tomorrow

Little bit of downtime now and then my last meal before bed

Big push day lined up for tomorrow, so early night to get it good.

All caught up on UFC 300 ….. just massive!

    Hi mate

Definitely a balance to weigh up, and some good points to consider

Can you get everything from 16 work sets in a single session?

If you can, can you recover from it?

If you can, how soon? Might you be ready to stimulate again sooner?

    Gooood leg session today

Knees really letting me crack on, and was really in the mood for some hurt today, so just what I needed

On with food prep, two feeds left and the UFC to catch up on tonight

Resting tomorrow, then back into push on Tuesday

    Hi Luke

I guess it depends what you mean by “run into an issue”?

What’s your split? How frequently are you training your legs? That will have a significant bearing on volume, and will help us feed back.

How long have you been running this? What is progress like both in the session and from a development perspective?

I have some immediate thoughts but will wait for you to elaborate a bit for us

Thanks for the reply, Currently train PPL rest repeat and have been running this leg session for around 2 months now. Numbers have been increasing consistently and development seems to be decent so far.

By run into an issue I guess I just mean will having just 1 set of compound quad work hinder my development in the long run.

    Cheers.[/quote]
    Hi mate,

In the case of that frequency, I would probably make a few changes

I agree with Marc, I’d probably pull down the sets of leg extensions, and add it a couple more sets of compounds

You might add a leg press, or a split squat

I’d probably be looking for two working sets on each of the compounds, maybe a loaded set and a down set/back off set

With that said, you’re progressing, so you could roll with one top set on each of the compounds and expect to add volume down the line

Good day today. Got a lot of work cleared, and then had a really good arm session

Having a bit of downtime now, one meal left tonight, then a long sleep

Definitely not been managing as much as I’d like lately, so taking advantage of the opportunity of an extra hour or so over the weekend

Goo pull session this evening. Very tired now though, it’s been a hell of a week

Weekend of training to look forward to but a little of work to get done as well so unlikely to be a restful one

Still, training and food will be enough to keep it right!

Just about to cook my last meal. Then it’s sleep time

Really really good push session this evening.

It’s long long days at the moment but I’m really enjoying the late sessions. Performance isn’t being impacted and the gym
Is quieter, so it’s a good mix.

The new clothing drop arrived. Ooooosht, they just keep levelling up!!

Just on with food prep and final meal, then it’s sleep time
